Actually, this is the exact definition of depression. It's a chemical imbalance. So when things are going well but yet you still feel empty, like not seeing any of your friends and absolutely useless despite things being 'good' - that is depression.

If something terrible happens and you feel absolutely terrible, then that's just pure sadness or trauma. It's exactly how you're supposed to feel. When you feel utterly worthless when good things are happening, then there's a problem. This idea that people who have nice things or seemingly have a good life are incapable of suffering from depression is at best ignorant and at worst dangerous.

And don't forget he had to face a severely pissed off Klitschko who would surely have taken his head off this time. So to me it looks like he just buried his head in the sand and started enjoying life with all the booze, coke, food and entertainment his riches could buy and stopped training completely instead of facing the music.

RE to the OP, I have mixed feelings about this. I think it's brilliant that he's shown you're able to bounce back from the brink and using something like boxing as a vehicle for that is even better. Particularly in the current climate with male suicide rates going through the roof.

    However...

I'm not entirely sure I believe he was mentally suffering. Sometimes I buy it, others it seems like a very convenient tie in with the PED scandal. So I really don't know where I stand

    Yeah I'm tired of it.
Tell us about training camp and how you're gonna beat Wilder. Not your sobbing story about failing drug tests and disappearing for 3 years.

I'm pretty bored of it. No doubt Fury suffers some mental health issues and has been to some dark places but he's past them and is back, let's focus on the boxing please.

I watched the Wilder-Fury face off and it might well have been the most I have ever cringed, I felt embarrassed watching it tbh. Wilder singing there's only one Bronze Bomber and then Fury saying he'd lost.because he made an alter ego up and couldn't do the job himself and then in the same sentence saying he would win because he had God on his side with no clue of the irony.

I honestly nearly facepalmed for every second of that video.

Also Fury has to accept a lot of stuff is his own fault and can't constantly play blame other people's doors and claim victimisation. Facts are that Fury failed PED tests, he refused testing and his lost his belts.because of this. He spent those two years which essentially he was banned for (retroactively) getting himself in a mess, out of shape and whinging about a situation he caused himself.

He has had problems, think his wife miscarried and his uncle died and fair play that's all bad craic but it still doesn't excuse the things he done to himself. I quite like Fury though, seems like a nice bloke when he's not in feeling sorry for himself mode. I'd much rather he focused in the future instead of churning up his past problems.

I for one am bored. I have mental issues just like him.

I don't bore anyone to death with it, not even my closest family.

He has a lot going for him, others don't have jack ****

You've said the story on camera at least ten times now... that's enough times Fury. Move on.

I don't see the issue. The case is that still male suicide and depression/mental illness are massive problems all over the world with large numbers of men feeling too shamed to seek professional help and treatment based on preconceived conceptions of it being a sign of weakness to open up about how they really feel, instead bottling it up and resulting in worst case scenarios committing suicide as a form of release.

I cannot speak from experience, but I imagine there are men out there who feel isolated and unable to speak openly about how they truly feel, so to hear a 6ft 9 former heavyweight world champion boxer speak about it openly helps to break down this stigma and change people perceptions on mental health.

If Tyson Fury continuing to reinforce his message in his interview etc that it's normal to suffer from mental illness and this can lead one man to seek the help he needs then this is in my opinion a million times better than another boring 'fake beef WWE' style video trash talking another man and then hugging each other after the fight.

If you don't want to listen then don't listen or skip these bits of interviews, but feel it's a good thing he is trying to do by opening up about his personal experiences.

Depression is a mental illness it`s got nothing to do with your lifestyle, it can happen to anyone. Fury`s upbringing was really rough because he was a gysie, maybe he`s got demons in his head from his childhood.

I believe it was knockout kings 2001. Loved the controls for the jabbing and moving, and quick reactions.
Later versions looked better, but kinda were in slow motion with 30fps, and the punches looked like they had zero impact.

Fight Night online, I used to beat this guy with the username Isal everytime, as I used Joe Calzaghe and he used Oscar De La Hoya.
