Did you see those posts on twitter by Canelo fanboys? Posting a pic of Canelo right after the last bell, and comparing that with a pic of GGG hours later where he's posing with a fan without wearing shades? And they want to submit that as proof that Canelo won the fight??? Canelo fanboys must really think the rest of the world is stupid.

 

Im not a Canelo fanboy if thats what youre implying. I was just going by off memory of how each looked while waiting for the scorecards. Canelo looked a little red besides the post fight flush and that cut. Golovkin just looked like a mess, honestly. Bloodshot eyes, swollen cheekbones, bruises everywhere, a cut of his own. The sorry state of that thinning hair wasnt helping matters either. Although that has nothing to do with this. But none of this really matters, because visible facial damage varies for every fighter. A moot point.

You do understand that it takes a little for the bruising to take max effect, right?

Give it 30 minutest to an hour and the skin will already turn yellow and purple, the swelling will get worse worse too. Why do you think boxers often look worse the next morning?
