I agree wholeheartedly, I'm no prude and use curse words far more than I should, but they know they're on television, and that kids are watching, they should try to clean it up a little. Not only do they refer to the opponent in a derogatory manner, but they often call their own fighter a mother****er, and that's after they slap them or throw water in their face. Its a little out of hand. Especially from Joel Diaz, its seems like he makes it a point of his to get in more F-wrods than actual words, and he doesn't have to do that, he's well spoken enough to do commentary for 2 hours without slipping, he can certainly go 60 seconds without dropping 40 F bombs in a row.

I don't want to sound like an old fuddy duddy but yes I agree. These corner teams have a Microphone hanging over them and there's going to be a clamp down on it and I'd rather them stop swearing rather than losing sound to the corners.

    Sensitive snowflakes.

What do you want to do, take a point for every naughty word. Is that how we want to settle the outcome of fights?

Fact is, there have been hundreds if not thousands of close and heated battles where the corners didn't resort to foul language to depict to opponent. A foul mouth don't get the point across any better when giving intelligent and thoughtful instructions. Think of all the truly great trainers like Emanual Steward, Angelo Dundee, or Eddie Futch, or Nacho Beristain. I never heard them speak in that manner. What changed?

I get the problem where introducing kids to the sport is concerned.

My main problem with it is that it dissuades the to companies from cutting to the corner and letting us hear the trainers instructions and aside from the action itself that's one of the best things about the fight.

So come on boxing get a ****ing grip

    Omfg! No way!

    No fricking way!

Why didnt someone point this out to me earlier?

You got boxers who are trying to knock eachother out senseless and injure one another. You got blood, braincells, sweat and tears flying around that ring. Yet these ppl and their camps are using foul language?????

    Disgraceful

If you want to hear Emanuel curse a guy out, watch the Jermain Taylor-Cory Spinks fight.

Though I agree that for the most part, he kept his language relatively clean over the years.

No one likes a potty-mouthed trainer turning the air blue in between rounds. I think they should deduct points from a fighter if one of their cornermen utters profanities during the minute interval.

    F bomb = 1 point
    C bomb = 2 points
MF bomb = immediate DQ loss

It should be MANDATORY that each corner uses 33 (the illuminati's favorite #) expletives during the minute breaks.

not to mention there are fighters with 40 words in their entire vocabulary. you really want to handicap them by banning 36 of those?

Come the **** on, are you serious? Does it actually hurt you to hear those words? Nobody has to like it, but youre a grownup bro, brush it off and keep it moving. I'm sure the TS would be the most articulate cornerman in history.
