    The shape of a croissant is not meant for placing in a mouth all in one go...Unless these were mini croissants or Mario Melo became a large mouth.

    Media in my country were laughing at it, "he resisted many punches but couldn't handle a croissant" they don't give a **** about boxing unless Floyd is fighting McGregor, a boxer died in the ring or a boxer died in strange situations they didn't give a **** about Kiko Martinez or Gabriel Campillo becoming world champions, they aren't talking about Spanish prospect like Lejarraga, Sergio Garcia or Jonfer, spanish sports media is only football and bull****

    Yes, to be a killjoy here.... this depresses me, nothing I hate to hear more than stuff like this, people think they're going to participate in something fun, goof around, have a good time with some harmless innocent family entertainment, and it ends tragically and they become the embarrassing butt of jokes and a laughing stock. Anyone in the sanctimonious moralizing media dares mock this guy in some obnoxious headline, have forever lost the high ground they all conceitedly and incorrectly believe they inhabit, they're nothing but mere immature chiding postmodern snarky trolling Twitter douchbags and should be driven from their professions with torches.

    I feel bad for laughing. But I can't help but smirk a bit. In all honesty if I were a writer/reporter I wouldn't joke openly about it - but at the same time it's hard not find some black humor/irony in this.

    I can't bring myself to think its funny, didn't even crack a smile, yes the circumstances are something out of a black comedy, but my mind invariably always goes in the direction of what the family must be thinking and feeling at the moment, and what a lovely good natured guy he appeared to be.
