Hope it isn't true. Would be a huge blow to the sport. Savon is one of the greatest amateur boxers of all time, certainly the greatest HW.

I would definitely describe that as a lack of existential intelligence, a lack of psychological intelligence. With the divorce of his wife he has had obviously had other issues confound and conflate into his tragedy. Just because someone is good at running a business, making money and is an expert in their field; that has nothing to do with their ability to comprehend and deal with existence. The fact that they both retreated to drink shows at least one step where they let themselves and everyone else around them down.

 

I don’t understand that logic at all, if you know that circumstances could take you to the same place then how could you hold that against the person? Being resentful and bitter just makes it more likely that you get closer to that bad side.
