The Official Glass Jaw Hall of Fame Thread

Thoughts? To put most of these guys on there is a sign of someone who doesn't know the first thing about boxing. Archie Moore? Really? Roy Jones? Gamboa? Let's just start with those three.

Archie Moore fought through mulitple weight classes and was successful in each and is one of the greatest fighters of all time. If you fight as many times as he did and against opposition that was naturally much bigger than you, you're going to get KO'd from time to time.

Roy Jones? I personally can't stand him but to say he has a glass jaw is a joke. He comes up as a middleweight, goes the distance against a legit heavy in Ruiz. He also has only been KO'd twice in a very long career. So apparently you can have a long and illustrious career but if you get KO'd twice you have a glass jaw.

Gamboa? He's barely had a pro career and hasn't been KO'd ONCE! He's been knocked down a few times but never clearly hurt, more of an over-extension/footwork problem and yet he is glass jawed also.

Good Lord man, get a grip. I don't understand how Arturo Gatti isn't on this list considering he got flattened by ODLH, Mayweather, Alphonso Gomez and a few others!

Erik Crumble is on a whole other dimension... honestly... guys like Norris had glass jaws but to put them in the same category as Crumble... that **** is not right.


Also there is nothing wrong with these Glass Jaw posts.... this is a freaking boxing forum. Chill. If you don't like them don't pay attention.

I personally find them entertaining. Rico is not all there though... he said Margo has a glass jaw.... that is just ****ing ******ed.
