Still no offical word this fight is a done deal (except JCs of course). I do not doubt JC but I still want to see this fight is offically made on fightnews.

Hey I know what you are feeling and I second that emotion times 10. I am excited, yet scared shitless of a Golota-Peter bout.

 

The fight is gonna be off...... McCline v Peter. Golota v McCbride is back.

I hope this happens. I just do not think now is a good time for Golota to face Peter. With all the pent up anger Peter has now by being screwed over by the WBC over the past year, He is looking to wipe the floor with somebody.

I wanted Peter Golota. ****. Now Mcbride. For ****s sakes. Oh well... I haven't bought tickets yet..... still might. Im not know.

 

At first I thought this was a HUGE mistake when learning Golota took this fight, but after a while that old Golota excitement started to kick in and I became a bit more excited. Now that the fight is off, I'm a bit relieved because I really wasnt giving him much of a chance but I was giving him a small chance and even though I didn't like those odds it was very exciting to go all or nothing.

Oh well, McBride is definitely the better fight for him. Let Golota beat McMalt and then challenge of the many belt holders he's more likely to beat such as one of the Russians or Holyfield if he wins.

JC stated he needs to be ready to fight again in nov then jan. If he took The Peter fight now it would be all over. I am not undermining Golota at all. I am just aware of what Peter has been through and needs to make a statement. I did not want that statement to be against the G man. If Golota was busy these past couple of years then I would say go for it. Now is not a good time for Peter.

 

Golota would have UD Peter. You guys overrate him hardly. Im sorry but those are my opinions.

 

Showtime said no to Golota,...obviously scared shitless of Peter losing.
