Not sure what happened to that plan, but I think your first text to Bryan would have been "oh ****".

    Tell us about the experience.

Very happy & Scoop said all of TEAMGOLOTA is pleased, too. They're happy he came through some adversity & Mariola said it was his biggest win to date in his career.

He did need that one & in impressive fashion. Good job by a loose & happy AG.

    :D

As for the night....we arrived right as Golota was being introduced. The staduim wasnt filled so i krept up a couple sections so i was in pretty good seats. Unfortunatly sat in the irish section (cant tell bc they dont rep it hard) which led to me making a couple of enemies throughout the night. The atomosphere in the place was just electric and it wasnt even close to being full. The amt of Golota supporters was insane compared to mcbride and those who were for mcbride werent very into it. One guy was waving a irish flag and a group of polish guy ran up and grab his flag and threw it hahaha there were a couple of clashes were security had to be brought in. for the peter fight i got even closer to the ring and actually sat and talked with McCline's sisters (who were extremely loud and annoying). And to top it off backstage ran into Riddick Bowe

also Shaggy preformed and wyclef jean was there. I was a couple of feet away from Zab Judah as well. In the ring before the mccline roy jones jr was there with trinidad promoting their fight. It was kinda funny bc RJJ was just on his cell phone texting the whole time he was in the ring lol

Golota fighting an Irishman.... A dilemma.... Who to root for? :think

Well, Golota got himself almost starched (again) by the no-hoper. He's done, stick a fork in him.

Great win by Golota, but he definately needs 2 more prep fights before fighting for a belt. This is Golota's last run, so why rush it?

I'm hoping for fights with Briggs/ Meehan or someone else in the top 10 before Golota fights for a belt.

Okay, based on this, he didn't look bad.

He still has a nice punching variety, still throws punches in bunches, and his left hand looked as good as it has in years. He even threw a few snappy left hooks.

However, he needs to do something so that he enters the ring better prepared to fight, and another thing I notices is he doesn't commit to a lot of punches the way he once did.

But the jab looked nice, the combination punching was still there, and I reckon he still COULD win a title given the opportunity at the right match-up.

    GO GOLOTA!!!

there were definatly some positives in this fight. However i think the whole first roudnd is not so much not being warm just nerves taking over before instinct has a chance to set in. Towards the end of the fight he really started moving and throwing punches like the old golota. Basically no matter what he does i think hes going to come in too nervous to be effective in round 1 esp against a big puncher. Golota needs to stay active with as many fights as possible and then just work on survival tecniques.
