Does anyone know when they're going to replay the Golota fight, if at all?

 

Probably not. Haven't you seen it on Youtube yet?:huh

 

Youtube blows. Shotime recorded the fight with HD cameras but we can't see it!

 

Any news on opponents?

Shannon Briggs? Kali Meehan? Jameel McCline? David Tua?

 

So Ademek will have a tune up in November before fighting Cunningham in January?
Who might be his opponent then?

He was in the middle of doing an interview when he saw Golota from across the room and said "holy **** i love that guy i have to meet him"and just walked away mid interview to meet Andrew.

 

A tuneup for Adamek would be a good thing. :thumbsup

Uploaded? Is it possible to get this fight on DVD from someone that got it off live broadcast?

 

Got to watch the whole fight (THANKS andyzOr) A few observations.

• Did Golota spit his mouth peace out in the first round?
• He was very flatfooted and stationary (especially in the first round)
• He gets hit way too much and part of that is because he has his hands low A LOT. He’s got to keep em up. He ate so many punches just because he had his hands by is waist.
• He’s gotta take a step back sometimes too. It looks like he smothers a lot of his punches.
• Left looks good.
• His jab looked good ..well at least better then recent fights and he’s going to need it. He was able to land his hard right every time it was setup with a good stiff jab.
• He’s def got to gradually step in competition because McBride was a fat off balanced slow opponent. I wouldn’t want Andy to bite off more then he can chew at this point in his career. This is his last shot. Opponents better be chosen wisely. I don’t think he would do that good with a guy who shows a lot of movement and footwork.
• The crazy Golota is still in there though! Hitting WAY after the bell in Round 5.
• Stoppage was a premature although it did make more sense watching the fight in its entirety. Wish we could have seen Golota KTFO McBride.
  McBrides eye was pretty ****ed up though- besides the but it was closed.

All in all…Golota can win some more against selected contenders and MAYBE win a title. I hate to say it but he’s a shell of his former self. On the bright side…that’s the way a fighter is going to be at age 40. He still appears to be in good condition but should work on simple things like keeping his hands up at all times and perhaps a little more lateral movement to avoid getting hit so much. Eitehr way …Strap in…because its going to be a crazy ride the next few months!!!!!!! GO GOLOTA!!!!!!!
