That would be a hell of a fight.

It would be promoted into a huge event I imagine. Big bucks, with the championship belt at stake. The world will be watching..................

    ..and Golota will know this.

The thought of it makes me nervous.

    GO ANDRZEJ!! :bbb:bbb

    Just watched the full fight.

Golota was much quicker then I had expected. So was McMuffin but not as quick as Golota. He threw lots of combos, his punches still hurt and his conditioning seems just swell.

One thing that scares me is that Golota got hit by some good shots from McMuffin, he took some good ones, and was IMO getting hit way too often by them. McMuff wasnt throwing them at a high frequency, and after a couple minutes into the fight was already gassed out.

I cant help worrying about what may happen if Golota fights a fighter that hits just as hard, but has better conditioning.

    Go Andrzej!

I think many general fans will blow this off but hardcore. fight fans will eat it up. This would probably sell out a place like moheagn sun but there would definitely be plenty of empty seats at a place like MSG.

You guys seems to be a little too harsh on boxers.
McBride is no bum, he have similar record as Golota.
He for sure is not at the same level and was out of shape
but he have power and some skills which gave him around 30 KOs.

He fought smart in the first round, waiting for Golota to come
inside the proper range and countering him with strong shots.
Mollo did good job by jumping at him, Golota newer was
ad never will be this type of fighter so he slowly adopted to
McBride game plan and finally finished him.

I think McBride from this fight would have a chance to
    beat both Peter and McCline.

I wouldn't mind if he fought either one of these guys next. Beck though is a bit of a step down. But the important thing right now is to keep the momentum going. Because the goal is to win the eliminator in January. I think it would be better for Golota to drill Beck in 4, than for him to go rounds with a tough awkward opponent like Austin and win a decision.

I read about that a couple of years ago. I think it was around the Ruiz fight. Scoop, if I'm not mistaken, was the guy who put that piece in one of his Golota articles. I guess mental case McCall finally found someone in the boxing world he could relate to. :!:

I can already see the marketing angle for this fight. Two of boxing's most unpredictable psychopaths facing off. At this point though, he would be one of the least attractive opponents for Golota - too much risk(his iron chin and perseverance ) and not enough gain. McCall's loss would be attributed to his advanced age and people would say that he wasn't such a good boxer, after all. Golota's people are correct in putting Kali Meehan (seen as a courages boxer, with a rising profile from his last win, who nevertheless, was TKO'd in the first round by a mediocre Danny Williams) in their crosshairs, as Golota's next opponent.
