Meehan seems to make the most sense for Golota's next opponent. He just TKOed TOS, a top 20 or so opponent, which in today's heavyweight divsion, advances Meehan as a top 10 or 15 fighter. Plus Golota and Meehan are both DK fighters. A win over Meehan (who Golota can defnitely beat) will make Golota a top 10 fighter again and back in position for a title shot.

I agree that McCall would be a terrible opponent for Golota. Let's keep boxing's mental patients seperated, shall we.

 

I remember back in the day...sometime after the first Bowe fight my dad got a few Golota shirts from Ziggy (who he was friendly with back then). I was excited to have a Golota shirt but then I noticed something....It said "Andrew Golata"

I thought....these damn Pollock's can't even spell his name right....hahahah. Don't know what ever happened to those shirts! Probably trashed them after the Lewis, Grant, or Tyson fights! Wish I still had it!!!!

I also got a Bowe-Golota II poster which I still have!

yeah just got through reading that. I think Golota might of had Peter sat night. IF he could survive early on he could have boxed peter's ears off. Golota is a very frusterating guy because he is soooo good .... when he wants to be. Hey, does anyone know where i can see the entire fight online? You tube still only has rounds 1 2 6
