As GOLOTAFANS, we appreciate the info JC provides. Maybe it always hasn't materialized, but thats how things go in boxing.

I can honestly say that on a daily basis, I always look forward to seeing news about Golota posted by Joecool.

    Maybe he's Ziggy Rozalski???:huh

    BTW...anything new, JC?:D

Just talked to Ziggy for the 1st time in awhile. He said he was in a meeting & to call him back in a 1/2 hr.

Any particular question you'd like me to ask him?:huh

Yes, ask him why Golota stopped throwing combos to the balls after the Bowe fights.

Sorry bro, that was the best I could come up with.

But do urge them to angle for a shot against the Ibragimov-Holy winner or Chagaev. Golota would slap those clowns silly.

Jetski....Make sure to STRESS the imporatnce of warming up like crazy before fights. It would appear he would HAVE to know this but nothing is as it appears with Golota.

Inquire about the plans...confirm what JC said... is the next fight against Meehan? If not him, then who? What champ are they targeting? If Wlad...does he really think that Golota has a chance at him (personally...I want anyone but him)

Is Colona going to remain Golota's trainer?

Jets, if you haven't spoken to him, I'd ask him about the rumours that Bloodworth might return and ask him how his shoulder is doing now, in comparison to when he fought Ruiz.

    :thumbsup

Curious to see you report back.

Just called about 10 minutes ago & he said his meeting wasn't over & to try again shortly. Its on my list about Colonna/Bloodworth.

Colonna seems like a nice guy, but to me....Bloodworth would be a better fit for Golota at this point.

He's just a more experienced trainer who seemed to know how to get the best out of Golota.

Having seen Tua since he reunited with Bloodworth amplified this belief.

Just got off the phone with Ziggy. I told him I attended the Pavlik/Taylor fight & almost met Scoop Malinowski in AC & he said that I sound like Scoop, but good thing I don't look like him!

    Q - Where's Golota now?
Z - AG is back in Chicago bangin' Mariola.

    Q - Who next?
Z - Don't know right now. Not a sure thing about fights in Poland on Nov. 24 at the moment. Its a "maybe". Same thing about Meehan being the next opponent. He also said that AG is the one who picks his opponents. Not D King...not Ziggy, but Andrew Golota decides who he wants & then Ziggy & King make the fight, if they can.

Q - Which Champ does he want?
Z - AG will make that decision. Naturally I told him to pick the one with the best chance for him to win. DUH!

    Q - Colonna or Bloodworth?
Z - AG is sticking with his first training when he came to America, Sam Colonna. They have a very good working relationship.

Q - His jab looked good so his shoulder is feeling better?
    Z - Yes it is!

Q - McBride surprised him in round 1. Was he properly warmed up?
Z - Yes he was. It was because McBride was quicker & more accurate than he aspected him to be.

He also said Golota is a very good business man & makes his own decisions & that Ziggy just tries to make it all happen. And that he's gonna keep fighting 'til he gets that final title shot, whoever it may be against.

Thats about it. Ziggys a trip. A real fun guy to be around. I wish I was up yappin' with him in his gym right now! Then we could go to lunch & have a few beers!

Sorry about no definative answers, but that is what the man said.

    Oh yeah, one more question...

Q - Ziggy, are you Joecool?
    Z - Get ****ed!!!

    hehehe
