It was good to talk to him again. He's such a character. Very warm & personable attitude. Must be nice getting paid while Andrew takes all the punishment!

I had the same thought. After seeing McCline drop Peter three times, I was kind of wishing Golota had got the title shot because I think he would have finished Peter off. Golota hits harder than McCline and has much better skills. All things considered though it was a good night for the big man, and he has an excellent chance of winning a belt anyway!

Golota finally will be one of the boxers in next big boxing game for consoles. Release is expected in December.

 

Sounds like an admission of guilt. If Ziggy didn't know who JC is, his natural response would be, "who's that"?

 

OK Ziggy, we know it you, just make sure Golota wear trunks with "Golota Express" in that console game.

 

There is also big possibility that Ziggy and Don King are just checking out
what Joecool is gonna to say and then gives official announcements.

 

Great work Jetski! Nice little interview with Ziggy. He does seem like a real cool guy. My father (and grandfather) used to be friendly with him before he got really involved with boxing and promoting. He used to fix my families cars that were in acidents or had problems with. He also used to get us great deals on cars. I remember my father went to a few auctions with him in NJ, and PA.

It seemed that a lot of Polish folks around the area look up to him. My dad would tell me that he would make a shitload of $$$ fixing Mercedes, and other high end cars at his autobody, then shipping them to Poland and selling them there for double (or more) there value. He started off real small with an autobody, then carwash, then built his house on top, then the gym. Eventually he owned most of the block. Hes been real successful with all his endevours it seems like.

Today my dad never really talks to him. Hes much more involved with boxing and less with his autobody.

He did come to my grandmothes funeral. This was prior to his fight with Ruiz. I wanted to tell him to tell Golota to kick Ruiz's ass but didn't feel it was the right time to do so. Afterwards, I wish I did though.

 

Jetski, aren't you from new jersey? How many Golota fights have you been to?

 

I remember you saying about your Dad knowing him. He should re-kindle the relationship. Maybe get you some ring side seats when Golota fights for the HW Title again.

I really thought he was gonna beat Ruiz. That one hurt...but so did the Grant fight.

He's gonna make up for it, you just wait & see.

 

He got us seats for Golota-Lewis. Unfortunately they werent as good as you think they would be. But he was giving out a lot of tickets for that fight I beleive. Because I remember asking others around us where they got the tickets from and they all said Ziggy.
