I disagree. I think if Golota could actually pull off winning over Vitali, it'd be more than enough to get him a title shot. Golota vs Vitali would be a HUGE fight IMO and would draw lots of attention. Pole against Ukranium, both resemble Ivan drago.

Problem is, I don't see Golota beating Vitali. It's possible, just depends on what Vitali has left. And yes I agree about Vitali being too injury prone. He pulls out too much and Golota doesn't have any time for that. He should aim for one of the two Russians and keep fighting guys like Meehan until he gets there.

I see Meehan as a very good choice for his next fight. Very good move.

I am looking forward to that one.

But still if Golota knock Meehan out and still did not
secure title shot, will you root for Golota-Vitaly?

If not then who you see instead: Briggs, Holyfield, Barrett?

It looks like Golota will fight in Poland next at then in Chicago this year. I don't know what is going on, but King is doing some crazy games. 2 fights in one month that is silly I think.

It appears Golota was forced into the wrong route by the greedy, short-term profit oriented King, planning to take on V. Klit. It appears King is hell bent on getting the most green mileage out of Golota by pitting him against another popular Eastern Euro. This is where Golota's and King's interests diverge and are in radical conflict, assuming Andrew still wants a belt. Of course, AG's ideal path towards fame and glory should be fights vs., Meehan, Maskaev and then W. Klit.
I get the feeling that King does not feel AG is capable of walking down this path and that is why he may be setting him up for a profitable failure. KABOOM, King may win again.

Considering Golotas situation I do not think it is silly at all. Golota has shown desire to win a title under King. But he has also shown that he is vulnerable early on and that has made networks turn away from having him in a main event. The recent Peter proposal is a good example of that. The G man needs to show heart and determination and prove to everyone that he is genuine in fighting and the only way to do that is to stay active. The G man really has no choice and has to suck it up and show the world what he is made of.

    We know he can succeed!!!!

    GO GOLOTA!!!!

Golota could beat Vitali, but I doubt Vitali can ever get through nother training camp.

Golota wins via late stopage if it happens.

    Based on WHAT?

His inability to make it through a training camp!

For ****'s sake, Vitali might get injured on fightnight while lacing up his gloves.

    GO GOLOTA!!!

    :good

Hey Jets, Big Blue lookin' good!

I know the 49ers aren't exactly world beaters, but the Giants were impressive yesterday afternoon.

    At 5-2, they're in a good place.

Although, I shan't soon forget that after a 6-2 start last season, they finished a mediocre 8-8. But alas, there is hope, for if you'd have told me the Giants would win five of their first seven at season's start, I'd have laughed at the notion.
