damn Vitali always goes for a knock out! I don't want Andrew to look like Sanders after 7th round with Vitaly. It was just sad. Even Peter would be a wiser choice. NO! NO! NO!. I DONT WANT TO WATCH THIS MASSACRE!:-(

Golota is big enough, strong enough, and skilled enough to take on Vitaly. I'm not saying he'll win but if he comes prepared and properly tuned Vitaly will have his hands full.

I don't think Vitali is a good opponent for Golota right now. Though I think there is some chance that Golota may be able to pull the upset. I think there are safer and better routes to take to get a title shot than fighting Vitali. Further, if Golota wins people will just say that he beat a guy that should have stayed retired.

Golota should ko another bum like Beck in Nov. then whack out Meehan in Jan. and then he would get a title shot by the summer of 2008!

I agree. Even though a match between Golota and Vitali sounds quite appetizing, I'd much rather Golota take a path of less resistance en route to a title belt. If Golota was still in his early 30s I'd say hell yeah why not. But this is his last chance to grab a belt. He needs to choose his opponents wisely.

Golota doesn't want to fight Meehan b/c they're friends, he wants Mollo.

From what you said about two fights in a month, it sounds like Golota must have felt good and still ready to fight after he beat McBride.

If that's the case, he must be in great condition and sounds as if he's gaining confidence and momentum. :good

Hey newbie...you a friend of Golota's? I ask because how else would you know that.:huh

As much as I don't wanna see AG get starched again, I would like to see him fight Mollo. The guy has no boxing skill, is wild as hell, Golota prob has a 10" reach advantage on him & if they have sparred in the past (& I'm not sure that they have) Golota should be able to KO this chump. All he has to do is keep Mollo off of him for a round to 2 & then start nailing him.

Look who he went to a 4 R UD against...

    Check out that record.:yep

It is not silly JC cause Golota has done this already back in `98. After he fought Eli Dixon h his next fight was 3 weeks later to fight Jack Bastings. (I think I am right about this. If I am wrong the G-force will be all over me!!:yep)

    GO GOLOTA!!!!!

I believe you're correct. Bastings was one of the few Golota fights over the years that wasn't televised.

Yep he fought man boobs Dixon in mid April then fought one legged gimp Basting in early May. Then he fought T-Rex about two months later. Duva and Bloodworth had Golota in a nice groove. Of course this was Golota in his youth but I'd like to see Golota stay fairly busy. All he has to do is keep winning against wash ups or nobodies and King will position him into a title fight.

But I saw that fight...we were in AC for it. Kind of a waste, seeing Golota beat that bum, but seeing Golota for the first time was a real thrill.

Guess none of the networks were interested in showing Golota beating the hell out of a one legged gimp 40 something, pudgy stripper.
