The fighters you named are over all way better than club fighter Mollo. But with the exception of maybe Peter, none are known for being very explosive in the opening round. IMO, Brewster did not have great boxing skills. Had Golota been given the chance, he would have outclassed Brewster with his jab similar to how Wlad beat him. But of course that never happened because Brewster is a power hitter and steam rolled a nervous Golota in the opening seconds. Not to say Mollo is as good as Brewster, but they both pocess a certain quality than could expose Golota's biggest weakness. It's a risk and the risk is not worth the reward should he win. At age 40, Golota needs to be more selective. Hopefully Golota can shut him up, but I dont like this match up.

    Exactly! :good

That's the whole problem with Mollo. I really believe in Golota and think he could beat both Ibragimov and Maskaev, but Mollo is just plain wrong for him.

Let's hope Andrew crushes the little *******. :deal

    GO GOLOTA

Ya know, I think I vaguely do remember ol' man Duva taking a bat to Golota's cup and pounding the hell out of it! I'm sure it wasn't the first nor the last time Duva wanted to hit Golota with a bat. I definitely remember the belt on the punching bag shinanigans just before the Lewis meltdown. Unfortunately all the talk and humiliation about the low blows coupled with Dr.Katz lidocaine injection had Golota down in the opening seconds with his eyeballs nearly popped of his head. Oh yeah, and Lewis can punch pretty hard too.:!:

If Golota gets out of the 2nd, Mollo will indeed be crushed like a roach.

    GO GOLOTA!

Sure, Duva hit someone square in the balls with a bat who was wearing the protective cup outside his boxing trunks. No effect. I remember seeing that like yesterday.

Bowe was FAKING LIKE A MOFO. He's the one that should have been DQ'ed for his shitty acting performance!

That's my take on it, too.

Mollo, while he is a fast starting rusher, he is not a world class figher, as TOS proved.

I think it'd take a higher level of oppoent than Mollo and his wild wreckless first round swinging to catch Golota well enough to drop him. Mollo is not Brewster or Tyson. Mollo is not even world class, and his attacking style seems very wild and uncontrolled. It is effective against other lower level fighters on Mollo's level, but I doubt it'll be effective against Golota.

Golota will dispose of him mid fight, I would say, after jabbing him back for the first two rounds till Mollo realizes his rushing is only getting him jabbed to death. :good

I think hitting Golota with a bat might be the only way to properly warm him up before fights.

Golota-holic for 11 years, 7 months and 29 days (Nicholson fight). How's that for faithful?! When Golota finally retires I'll have to start counting the days sober.

    GO GOLOTA!

Mollo is the much smaller fighter of the two. Golota could smother him for the first couple of rounds to avoid getting hit with that left hook, throwing those hard inside combinations he does so well. He could pound the **** out of Mollo's head and torso for a few rounds before getting warmed up and getting that jab pumping.

Ya know, after making comments that this is a good fight for Golota & re-thinking the matter, I think Mollo will end AG's career. Remember I told everyone that Ziggy told me Andrew makes all the decisions & picks his opponent? Well, I think HBO is wanting Mollo & prob because Meehan isn't interested, by process of elomination, that leaves Mollo. And because he got under Golotas skin with his comments in that 24 minute interview, AG is being pig-headed (stubborn) about this & wants to kill the guy. Whether that happens or AG gets caught cold again, will just have to wait & see.

But becuase of the above listed factors, it gonna be a dandy leading up to this one!

Hate to say it, but once I saw Mollo land that monster left hook that put Binkowski on his ass, it looked all too familiar and I saw a vision of Mollo doing this to Golota via Lamon Brewster. Yes, this could very well be the end of the road, one last early fight melt down in the enigmatic career of the Foul Pole. How fitting. :patsch

But because we are expecting this to happen, maybe this means Golota will pull thru. After all we must expect the unexpected from him.

I am sure Golota would be proud of the unwavering faith that his diehard fans have in him.

    We're realists.

Golota shall inevitably rule the division!
