Holy ****. A college english prof. once said my writings rambled on too much. Like opening a cage of wild birds.
The only thing I find worth commenting on from the above pontificating is the line about Golota "looked like a better boxer than he actually was"...

Tell that to Riddick Bowe & let me know if you can understand his answer.

    :yep

Oh I see, it only LOOKED like Golota was beating the crap out of Bowe, but it was all an illusion.

Sorry for my English. I will try to keep the birds in a cage

Im not saying that Golota didnt beat the crap out of Bowe. Im saying that he fouled because he had nothing left... And he prefered to be seen as dirty than as a looser. And he achieved that. Ask Golota.

Sorry to bust on your crock pot theory, but Golota had never any major issues with stamina because he always did his job in tranining and came physically ready to fight. You would never see AG huffing and puffing like Briggs, McCline or Botha. For a 240lb heavyweight, his natural stamina is above average.

At the end of the 2nd Bowe fight, both fighters were pretty tired after going through hell & back...

Agreed. But that was understandable. For Golota at least, it had not much to do with any stamina deficiencies. Sometimes, people underestimate how much energy it takes a 240lb man to move let alone throw hundreds of punches while being blasted yourself.

Well... I really don't remember seeing Andrew huffing and puffing. His stamina really seems to be above average, but still I think it would let him for much more if he mooved more naturally in the ring instead of trying to effect this indestructible badass look.

Can you deny he's kind of robotic and stiff, especially in the first rounds? How would you explain that?

By the way, he could grab and hold from time to time. It's kinda impressing that he doesn't, but it would let him survive for example the grant fight. It's weird to see him hurt, get hit and not holding.

Only Mollo had bolls to accept challenge. All others just said no. Toney didn't want a fight for a 500k $.

I heard Golota dropped Toney in sparring some years back. Is this true Joecool?

Also, is this fight a done deal? Contracts signed?

I vaguely remember someone saying they rode in the ambulance with Golota to the hospital just after he was DQed against Bowe in the second Golota-Bowe fight. Everyone in the ambulance asked Golota why he would DQ himself while he was so far ahead with only another round to go and Golota said he was so tired, he simply couldnt keep his arms up and he accidently hit him low again in the 9th. Then he demanded the paramedics to stop at 7-11 for hot dogs....:nut

Personally, I think he was just hurt in that fight and couldn't think very straight. Remember, he had a ruptured ear drum, broken jaw and a nasty cut below his bottom lip, plus he was very tired after what was one of the most brutal wars in boxing history.

The first fight DQ, I believe were for different reasons. In this fight I think he just couldn't handle the pressure and acted like a maniac, could't control himself. Just after he went low for the last time in that 7th round, the ref waved the fight off and Golota got his "oh no what the **** did I just do...:patsch " look on his face.

Had nothing to do with stamina, just couldn't handle the pressure in a big fight.

Golota is a constant pressure fighter and throws a lot of punches. For a big man I'd say he has above average stamina.

Dropped him where? At Burger King???:!:

This Mollo guy has me very concerned. AG better be ready for all hell to break loose or he's going down...You know he's gonna be a little up tight at the start. He's got to tie Mollo up with clinches when he begins to bull rush him & Golota just doesn't do that well. And a jab isn't gonna keep Mollo off of him. This isn't the same jab from '96 we're talking about here.

All I can say is it will be a very good test for Golota. Can he get a passing grade, I wonder.
