Ok, Muhammad Quarry, "****" was not the right word, or better still not always. To respond your question, no, unfortunately I've never been in the States (but I'm looking for it in the future), but I have Irish relatives just in Chicago, as well as many friends of mine have been in the US. I based my opinion upon their tales, but they haven't tested all the U.S. restaurants, so I was not right. Anyway I can assure you and all the polish and american friends that here in Italy food and wine are amongst the few thing that really deserve to be on top (surely no Mollo!):yep

Just watched the Mollo-Binkowski bout. That left hook that essentially ended the fight was telegraphed to the point I doubt he'd land something like that against Golota. Also, while it's obvious Mollo has some pop in his punches, I'm not sure he has enough power and accuracy to blast Golota out early like Brewster did.

I'm more confident than ever. Well, at least as confident as one can be regarding Golota bouts!

You know guys, this is Heavyweight division, anything can happen, and Andrzej has passed his best days by quite a while, he's the man who fought Riddick Bowe anymore. Said this, it also has to be said that Mollo is miles away from what Riddick was before the Golota fights, almost another sport, far away from Brewster too, I think. This make me be very confident and positive thinking about the upcoming fight.
What's your opinion? (Let's begin heating up, it's just little more than two weeks to the fight!!!):happy

    Good overview, Hoax.

Agree. Mollo is not another Brewster, powerwise.

I dunno Rums. Golota's chin may not be what it once was. Remember the Brewster fight. Golota was completely flattened by a single punch. Out of all the big punchers Golota has faced (Tyson, Lewis, Grant, Bowe, Pouha etc), nobody was ever able to take Golota down with a single punch, all KDs were an acumulation of big punches. Granted, that left hook that bombed Golota was a huge hay-maker shot that most fighters would not have been able to get up from and Golota beat the count and tried to continue, despite being knocked silly.

As far as Mollo's power goes, I really do not think he hits as hard as Brewster, but he certainly has good pop. This combined with a notoriously nervous and cold 1st round Golota, combined with Golota's 40 year old possibly cracked chin, I tend to worry just a smidgeon.

Still going with Golota by mid round stoppage. Not that I'm biased or anything.

    :hat

He's got good power and he comes out swinging like a wild man, but I agree, he's not quite on Brewster's level. Was he able to land anything significant against Touch Of Sleep before getting Put To Sleep?
