What Andrew did against Grant was move forward, lead with the left foot and throw a straight, strong and long, snapping, fast and stiff jab to his face. And just as the jab popped him Andrew already had the straight right in his nose for a brutal classic Golota 1-2 punch combo.

What I saw in his last workout was more of "rolling" jab coming from the elbow, not coming from the shoulder and arm.

And by the way, my brother just called me from the press conference at MSG. That was at about 11:15 or so.

Just spoke with him again (about 12:15) but his reception was terrible.

Try to get a better connection & tell us what went down!:good

BTW, about the right hand that dropped Grant, watch it again and notice that Grant fired a right hand exactly the same time Golota did. Only AG's shot dropped him & Grants moved Golota off balance a bit. Pretty cool. Simultanious punches landing, but only one does damage.

    ((((((((GO AG))))))))

Just got off the phone (about 2:20 PM). It was a 2.5 hour conference. Neither guy said much, they just thanked Don King. Colona said "Mike I love you but it's not your time".

My brother asked Sam if they worked on the warm-up for the first round and Sam replied "everything is under control." My brother got to see Andrew, got some items autographed, and then walked out behind them onto the streets of New York. When he gets back to New Jersey I might get more details.

Thanks, Lou. Sounds like a good deal. I hope Sam wasn't blowing off your bro with the "everythings under control" statement. They better realize this is the key to victory.

Yeah, tell us more when you find out. Anything on Fightnews about the Press Conf. today???

    Lets go see...

    No, nothing yet.

For whatever reason, fightnews has been silent about this fight. I havn't read a single article yet on Golota-Mollo as far as fightnews goes.

Strange, considering they seemed to be hyping the Golota-McBride fight.

Yeah, that was one of the best combo knock downs I have ever seen. Golota came forward, double jabbed and threw a hard straight right hand that put Grant on his ass.

Or as GolotaProzak calls it, the "sit down and shut up" dance.

Strangely enough, Golota seemed to have abandoned the right hand as the right went on......:nut

    Getting close, now.

So I do Rums. I am trying to stay posstive, but realistically speaking, Mollo's all wrong for Golota. Seeing what Mollo did to Binkowski and what Brewster did to Golota spooks me.

But at least Golota is considered the underdog in this fight and he always seems to perform well as the underdog.

    GO GOLOTA!

They HAVE to know Golota must be properly warmed up, especially against a fast hard hitter like Mollo. What Lennox did to Golota was at the time considered an aberration. Then Brewster showed everyone the blueprint in beating a slow starting Golota.

    Golota is FORTY!

I saw a couple of Mollo's bouts, and while I think his power isn't enough to have damaged a prime Golota....he's ****ING FORTY!

I hope he wins, but I'm not even worked up over this one like I typically am before Golota fights.

It just seems that the end is near.....but the hope shall forever persist.

I remember thinking Golota's age must have played a factor just after Brewster demolished him (nobody had ever beatin Golota THAT BAD), and he was 3 years younger then...

    Go Golota....:think

I dont belive it. Look at this interview: http://pl.youtube.com/watch?v=Is0_dxWm7f0

Golota is again extreme nervous infront of a single camera (he stutters) and a reporter with a cheap micro. What will happen in MSG?! Thousands of people, x cameras & reporters, HBO PPV and a "hard" hitting opponent. It will be the same! He will be stiff (almost paralyzed) as always at the beginning. There is absolutely nothing, they can do.
Maybe a glass of vodka before the fight ;).

    I'm very pessimistic today. :(
