I became a Golota fan after last night's fight.

Perhaps, but the important thing is that this obstacle is now out of the way and there are bigger things on the horizon. :hey

On a side note I can see that most people say the current Golota is worse than the one in the previous comback against Ruiz and Byrd. I'm not so sure myself. Even though Andrew looks slow and sloppy I've got a feeling he's more aggressive and uses his jab a bit better now. Of course the opponents were better then but I've got this feeling that the current Golota is more reliable. And he will be a tough fight for anyone, of this I'm pretty much certain. But then again, when you're too certain of something with Andrew things start going wrong. Man it's confusing.

Anyway now it's time to play the waiting game, hopefully joecool will have some updates soon. Man there's nothing as exciting as a Golota fight. :good

Just saw the photo of Andrew's eye above. I hope it is not permanently damaged in any way. Was the doctor looking at it during the fight?

 

Those of us that saw the fight, saw that Mollo was wobbling around like a drunk guy for the last six rounds. And if Neuman had started taking points for holding, Mollo would have been toast!

 

Whatever Golota's next fight will be, JC said in either NY or Germany, I hope Golota NEVER fights in Germany, **** those pricks! Everyone remembers how they tried to embaress Golota during the Adamek fight.
But I guess the Polacy got the last laugh :yep


Golota yesterday showed great great heart. I was more nervous watching that fight then before I went on my flight instructor checkride... and that is saying something. If it wasnt for Mollo's holding he would have been at the very least knocked down, if not out. Huge props to Golota, and even Mollo for staying on his feet, although he made it a very ugly fight. Andrzej made us all proud. After so many years of following him through the various debacles in his career and cheering for him, I think anyone on the express can say that to them the big Andrzej Golota is something more then just a fighter you pull for. And this time around... I have this feeling .. this feeling that he just might pull this off.

Yup he was looking at it after round 10 I believe. I was afraid they were going to stop it with Golota well ahead on the cards but fortunately they let the fight go on.
