I think that Beck is probably the best option.

Meehan is way more dangerous than what he is worth. Austin can be dangerous and his value is low right now. Beck is smaller, less dangerous, and is as good of a win right now as either Meehan or Austin.

    Golota tko8 Beck

I love how golota is makin moves already...going after all the right people.

About the guys....they must honestly be blind or really really trying to get mollo to like them, I mean seriously, even someone who knows nothing about boxing could tell you that this guy was severly outclassed and barely survived being KO'ed by a one eyed man bc of his cheap (and illegal) tactics

    Beck? What the Heck?

I'd like to see Andy against Meehan or Austin. Beck just sucks.

    Hey Joecool, Scoop says hello!:hi:

I think Beck is a good choice because he's about the same size as Chagaev. Both are 6'-1" with Beck having a 78" reach & Ruslan a 74" reach. If AG is going to go after Chagaev, why fight a giant like Austin? Even Meehan is very tall.

Man, Chagaev reach is only 74"...I can see Golota dictating alot of the action against him with those long arms of his. Golota will have no fear of Ruslan, but still must fight a cautious fight.

An aggressive Golota will out point Chagaev!!!:happy

BTW, if its in Poland, what will be the deal with TV coverage in the US??? MGS again?

Against Chagaev? Come on, I heard he didn't look like anything speacial vs Skelton. Golota will show no respect for the little Russian & pummel him. Golota will look even better that he did vs Mollo. He promised he would.

I lost 2 dollars on Golota when I bet on him with Brewster. He'll never win the big one.

Don't make fun of him. Maybe that's the guy's life savings.

Excellent point! Austin would be better preparation than Austin or Meehan for Chagaev.

The only thing is that all of these guys are orthodox fighters, and Chagaev is a southpaw. This is why Moorer would have been a perfect opponent, because he is about the same height and reach as Chagaev and he is also a southpaw.
