yea, Golota needs to get back in the ring, and soon. Time is one thing he does not have, he should have 2 fights lined up by now, one of them being for the belt.

I think Golota can take on Peter and Wlad. Let's see how Wlad will look against Sultan...

It was taken last year at the Adamek-Dawson weigh-in.

Golota is a real nice guy. I got to talk to him for awhile and I posted a thread about it.

I still think Golota has a chance at making a fight with Wlad and Peter competetive, I just dont give him much of a chance at winning. At 40, he needs to fight opponents within his means. I can easily picture Wlad utterly destroying today's version of Golota.

The way I see it is, if Wlad cannot destroy Ibragimov then he cannot destroy Golota. Golota is a seasoned fighter... he's more durable, bigger, stronger, and very skilled. I could be wrong but time will tell.

I have never seen Ibragimov fight so I can't really judge based on him at this point. I can picture Golota getting lucky and landing one of those prime-Golota straight right hands to Wlad's jaw and dropping him like he did Grant. Golota seems to fight better against taller opponents (Grant, Bowe, Sanders, McMuffin).

But Wlad destroying Golota would be the more likely scenario. Golota is very slow now and doesn't have the snap he used to.

There are few options and all we have to wait for Maskaev-Peter outcome.
