JC hasn't dropped in for awhile. We sure could use some Golota news. If he's smart, he's keeping himself in top shape. Just wondering why they haven't mentioned any possible opponents lately.

    Austin was the latest word...

I don't see it happening, though.

Yeah, Austins name was kicked around. Now if Golota could KO him with only 2 left hooks instead of 3 like it took Waldo, that would be a good indication that AG would take Klit out with 1 right hand.:D

Just give us a warm body to put in front of Andrew already!:fire

This fight makes sense for a lot of reasons....at this point, I, too, would love to see it!

Yeah...winner moves on towards their goal, & loser goes home.

    For good.

It would be intense because of that. And it would hang greatly over both of their heads.

Plus, they are from the same generation and rumors of these two facing off have been floating around for years!

Golota is one of the few big names from the mid-90s that Evander has never faced.

    Bring it on!

    :hh

I'd rather see Golota redeem himself against Brewster or Lewis, should he make a come-back.

I think we can forget about Lewis ever fighting again.

The only opponents Lewis will be fighting are the crowds in the buffet lines.

    True story...

About a year or 2 ago, the wife & I go to this little dumpy place that makes KILLER Fish & Chips. I hear people mentioning L Lewis & I'm like whats going on here? So I ask the kid working there whats up & he tells me 1/2 hr ago LLewis & some friends came in for a snack. As it turns out, the City of Plainfield NJ (only a few miles away) was putting on a Boxing clinic & somebody close to LL (Assit manager?) is also a good friend & he's from Plainfield. He asked LL to stop in & blow the kids away with an appearence.

So if we were 30 minutes sooner, I woulda been sitting there, doing my cholestrol wonders as Lennox Lewis walks in & probably think I'm in the Twilight Zone.

You guys in the New York area probably run into celebs/famous athletes all the time. They're a little more sparse here in Austin, but I guess we get our fair share of Mathew McConaughey and Sandra Bullock.

A friend of mine was in Vegas a few years ago. She phoned me up all excited and told me she just got her picture taken with Lennox Lewis. When she got back and showed me the picture, it looked like Lewis (dreads, sun glasses, beard) but this guy was like 5'11" and had a serious gut). I said "that's not Lennox Lewis!!" She said "it's not???? He told me he was and it looked just like him!" He was even posing with his fist up like so many boxers do. :-(
