1st thing I did at work this morning was watch that video. What a way to start the week. A reminder of what could have been. But I still think AG has a pot of gold waiting for him at the end of the rainbow.

    ((((((((((GO GOLOTA))))))))))

Thanks for your helpful thoughts Ironchin. I guess boxing, tennis and the Polish go hand in hand. :!: I may try and find a decent racket this weekend. Not really taking it too seriously, just need some other ways for cardio that's not so boring and tennis looks like a lot of fun, to me at least. Or I could just decide to keep the man boobs and go play golf.

    :good

I like how they showed Golota's whopping 3 punches (none landed) in the Lewis fight and then went to the next fight. :!:

Even though he got blown out by Lewis, you can still see how how strong Golota's left jab was in his prime. How he used to throw that jolting, hard stiff left jab that would snap his oppoents heads back. I wonder what Golota's jab would look like today had he not had his car accident in '99.:think So many what ifs with this guy.....

He most definitely needs to fight somebody and quick. I'd love to see Golota avenge his loss against Grant. He had that one in the bag before ****ing it up near the end. Golota should just rush today's fragile version of Grarnt and knock him out in the first like he should have done before.

I think Corrie 'The Golfer' Sanders illustrated this quite well.

It's something I used to often wonder, too.

For instance, had Golota not gotten into the car accident, would he have fared better against Tyson? Of course, it's easy to dismiss such possibilities given Golota was scared shitless of Tyson that night, but perhaps his fear was largely predicated on the self-awareness that his jab--his main weapon--was gone.

Taking this further, I have no doubt, none whatever, that Golota would have beaten Byrd and Ruiz by such large margina that he would not have gotten screwed on the scorecards. In fact, stoppage victories against both (especially Ruiz) would have been probable outcomes, IMHO.

    OK, Joecool...whats the story lately?:huh

I guess things are on hold until some things work themselves out regarding other fighters.

But Andrezj should really stay active, even its its against some B grade opponents, don't you think?

Common AG!!!!!!!!! Get back in that ring! At least set a date/opponent already! Even if he schedules a fight today, it wouldn't come off until what?? End of May/Early June at the earliest. AG's gotta stay active!

He said he'll fight Golota, either Klitschko, or Peter. So how much money does he want?
