Golota - Briggs would be killer! I'd LOVE to see that fight. Great choice for both fighters to take at this point. They NEED each other.

I think I'll email Shannon and ask him if he'll really back up what he says, and agree to fight Golota, cause is sounds as if Golota is game.:good

He is just chicken. It's not about money, it's about being a man. His woman is more man than he.

Six punches a round won't get it done against this hunger, aggressive Golota. That's what has Briggs worried. Andrezj will be all over him like a plate full of perogi's covered with fried onions.:blurp

So now Andrew will wait... and practice dancing while he is training, so he can use his power and look like Ali.

Shannon Briggs would be perfect for the Big Guy. He is WAY WAY overrated by people, a former champ, and has ZERO staminia after three rounds. If Andrew boxes smart like he has been recently he he can stop this guy by the 7th round or win on points easily....Andrew just has to be prepared for Shannon to bum rush him in the first few rounds of the fight!

What you say is all true.

As always, you got to be a bit worried about Briggs in the early going. He still carries a big punch, and he has pretty quick hands when he fully commits.

    ((((((((((((((GO GOLOTA))))))))))))))))

Bum rush by Briggs = 3, not 6 punches per round. AG has finally learned how to cover up to protect himself. All he needs to do is the Rope-a-Dope with Briggs & after 3 or 4 rounds, go to work on him.:ko

THere is no doubt Golota lost his prime skills forever over night after he had the car accident in '99. Golota looked great vs Grant (until the end). His jab was snapping, showed good footwork, head movement, good fast combinations punches, good left hook, his right hands were hard and straight (although he appeared to stop throwing them after the first few rounds). He looked almost (not quite) as good as he did against Bowe in '96. Then he fought Orlin Norris after his accident and he looked like a completely shot fighter. He actually struggled against Norris!

Against Tyson, I think you're correct. Golota realized he didn't have the left jab anymore, which seemed to have a domino effect on the rest of his arsenal, he set everything up with the jab. Golota even said wasn't 100% healthy but decided to go thru with it for the money. Golota looked like a scared BUM vs Tyson. Just pitiful. Especially compared to the prime Golota who fought Bowe. Definitely not the same fighter, day and night difference.

    Oh well, whatcha gonna do?:conf

Guess we should just be thankful Golota didn't end up like Christopher Reeves or even dead from his car accident. This guy Golota CANNOT DRIVE!
