I said it before, and I'll say it again. Adamek is a young guy and I think after he cleans up the cruisers he'll bulk up and become a heavyweight - and probably a good one.

September? That's ridiculous. So both Peter and Golota are going to sit round for 5 months? June (July the latest) sounds much better.

    NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!:yikes

Absolutely no more matches in Chicago!:nono

I'd rather Golota retire right now than fight a big match in his hometown again. Especially against a puncher like Peter. The Lewis and Brewster blow outs are all I can take.

Those were probably Golota's exact words.

    :rofl

Agreed. If Golota keeps sitting around waiting for a big match to fall in his lap, he's gonna look even slower than he did against Mollo. But I get the feeling Golota is not interested in training anymore unless it's for a meaningful bout.

I can understand why Andrezj has no interest in fighting in Chicago. I know you'll be disappointed, Joecool about this, since you live there. But Golota & Adamek deserve to fight in the MECCA of Boxing, Madison Square Ggarden. I'm sure AG already told D King that.

Looks like you'll just have to pack up the car & make the trip to NY. No freakin way does Golota need to have ideas about melting down in front of a hometown crowd. This is a Title fight. Enough pressure there alone. Golota will feel much more comfortable in MSG.

    :good

Yes it is. Actually, I would enjoy that more. But either MSG or AC, that would be a HUGE night for Polish fightfans.

BTW, I just might consider going to that event.;)

If he can get a title shot next then I don't mind the wait. However, it will be a set back if he waits that long just to crack some bum like Owen Beck that he could smash tomorrow.

A tune up bout couldn't hurt anything for the early summer.

He definitely needs some kind tune-up match real soon. This will help boost him a bit in the rankings and will also keep his wheels from squeaking.

Jets, what's the last Golota fight you attended? The Ruiz fight? Didn't you say there were lots of hot-headed Poles and Ricans getting into drunkin' fights? I dont think there's too much Nigerian pride in the NY area so maybe the atmosphere will be better this time around.

And you all were blaming Vitali Klitschko for keeping Peter waiting til Sept.

    :-(

If Sammy Peter fights Golota, instead, and STILL waits til September, I think someone owes Dr. Ironfist an apology. :yep

But that said, I wonder why they are waiting til Sept, and that is the time Vitali Peter is supposed to come off.........? That makes no sense. I thought Golota was a fight to keep Peter busy until September.....

    ?????????:blood

Does Vitali know they are about to screw him over? LOL Vitali DOES the screwing. He don't GET screwed!!!!

I think Dr. Robotschko needs to stay away from gym and keep his screws tightened or he just may disassemble. :yep

Just kidding, I wish Vitali did not have to retire, he added life to the heavyweights, but I dont think his body can keep up anymore and his health issues have probably gottin' worse with age. I'd be curious to know what the Peter camp is thinking as far as either fighting Golota or Vitai. It seems they may be debating on this.
