It should not be forgotten why Golota is getting this fight. One, he always sells lots of tickets. Two, he has a somewhat similar style to Vitali and Peter's people think of him as a tune up. Three, Peter and his people think this will be a devestating one round ko that will launch Peter into a fight with Vitali, giving him more confidence and helping to hype that fight.

For the love of God, JoeCool please tell Golota to be prepared for a very quick start! Peter is going to come out fast but he can't sustain it. He has only two knockouts after the fifth round. Golota is going to get cracked in this fight, he needs to practice holding on riding out to clear his head. If he just goes into the shell and lets Peter beat on his arms he will get stopped.

Golota needs to box early when Peter is dangerous, rounds 1-5. Then in the second half of the fight he can start sitting down on his punches with Peter and slugging with him more.

I know in my heart Golota has the skills to beat this guy, but he has to fight smart. Box early slug late!!!!!!!!

Right. I think GOlota ought to work that jab, from the opening bell, like a piston. Also, use alot of lateral movement like Wlad did.

If Golota can keep the jab up in Peter's face, and keep Peter having to reset, constantly, along with Golota using alot of lateral movement, he should be able to survive long enough to start taking over, once Peter starts to wear down and getting frustrated.

Once Golota starts to land that big right hand, it'll get real interesting.

Accrding to Polskiboks and Ziggy the fight with Peter is almost a sure thing, although not yet 100%. He says either way the next Golota fight will be in the summer time.

Golota lost his tremendous jab after his car accident. Lately he's been using the jab but differently. It's effective but not like before. Golota's best assets seem to be counterpunching and pinning his opponents on the ropes. If he's focused and relaxed he can move like a butterfly. I don't even think he'll be thinking "title fight". It's going to be business as usual. Kill or be killed.

Watch at 1:49 to go. Perfect rake job across the face, & the combination that followed is why Bowe can't speak today.

I understand from german tv that the Chagaev Valuev fight is off due to a Chagaev's illness. That could change something in your opinion?
I wish Andrzej stay way out from the russian giant, he looked impressive in his last performance after changing trainer. I used not to have a great opinion of Valuev, but I've changed my mind, to me a fight against Peter would be way easier for AG!

Couldn't agree more. Valuev is very underestimated but he would be a tough nut to crack for anyone. Although he's not young he's still getting better.

AG should go after Peter & stay away from the giant. Punches just don't affect him. You could hit him with a board & he might blink. He may frustrate Golota & then bad things could happen.
