Well, being that Peter vs Vitali looks like a go in October, this seems like a very good possibilty to keep Sam active & they look at Golota as a good tune up for Vitali.

Keep thinking that way TeamPeter. Sam will be on vacation at the chocholate factory in October!

    Sounds good, to me.

But what I Peter loses in July? Is Vitali to then fight that fighter, when PEter Vitali is already agreed upon?

Golota a tune up for Peter!? You've got to be kidding me. Golota's not a tune up for anybody, he's a real threat.

Yes, if Golota beats Peter, will Golota then be penciled in, in Peter's place on the Vitali Peter contract, or does Peter still get the Vitali fight, win or lose in July?

    I am not getting it.

Just my guess but I would think it would be for Peter's title. If Golota pulls the upset, he probably gets put in the tournament in Peter's place. A Klitschko/Golota fight would be huge. I have my doubts about the tournament though. Either way Golota would be a major player with a belt.

I wish we could get some confirmation from Joecool though.

If Golota beats Peter, I believe there is no doubt we will see Golota face Vitali instead. That is, if Vitali can finally get through training camp.

I was thinking that, as well, but why do they announce PEter Vitali as a done deal, when they don't even know if Peter will still have the title in Oct.?

As I have said, I think Golota will beat Sammy, so.............

Anyway, we've got two good fights coming up, regardless of who wins in July. :good

I hate to say it but I think they used Golota strictly to leverage Klitschko. As in if your not ready to go Vitali then we will fight Andrew. And it worked, I think that Golota's people got played a little bit.

I hope this doesn't discourage Golota into retiring. He should stay sharp and fight in June because if Chagaev is never able to recover from the illness thing he can step and fight for the interim belt.

You act as if Golota-Peter isn't going to happen.

Unless (and until) joecool states otherwise, Golota-Peter is on!

joecool's word is like money in a bank!
