I say give the people what they want! Peter-Golota would be worth watching even if you're not a fan of either guy.

    Certainly.

If fighting Meehan is a means to an end ( a WBA titleshot), let's go with it. :good

And I guess Golota is in a bad place in his career. He's good enough to give everyone pause about fighting him, but he is 40 years old and the boxing public would see beating him as no big accomplishment (even those of us who follow is career know it would be a noteworthy accomplishment)

If Meehan is willing to fight Golota, Golota ought to be thankful he can get a decently known name like Meehan, and for what also may be an eliminator fight. Great work, if you can get it.

I like that idea. Avenge these stupid losses that he has on his record.

If you can't get a top guy why not just bash some bum to keep his name in everyone's mind?

In that light, a fight against Grant or even Bowe would do well.

Hell, I wouldn't even mind seeing him fight Ruiz again, honestly.

I told you a long time ago, no shot for Golota, unless for WBF

It's not easy to make a fight this days. Fighters want it, promotors want it, but who is going to pay them? There are not many sponsors.

you'll just have to be surprised! Hope he does it today sometime.

It will be appropriate for the situation we're in here these days.:smoke

I like the idea of a rematch with Grant but not one with Ruiz. You just cannot look good against him, although I know Golota has always been interested in fighting him again. Forget Ruiz, please.

Ruiz is still highly regarded in the rankings if I am not mistaken.
