Just read Meehan's open letter on another thread. He's talking about fighting Ruiz in an eliminator for Valuev / Chagaev winner. That kinda throws a bit of a ****** wrench in the plans.

Briggs is obviously a backup plan if Meehan is negotiating a fight with Ruiz. There must be a whole lot of backdoor dealing going on right now. It's going to get real intersting, and soon.

Yeah, & if Meehan fights Ruiz the Cockroach in an eliminator for Valuev/Chagaev, where does that leave Golota, even with a win over Briggs? It constantly seems like AG will be on the outside looking in.

No ... you wrong, Golota was playing Ivan Drago in Rocky IV already ... at least all the ring scenes without close ups to the face :smoke

    :good

Beating Meehan would pay the biggest dividends (due to Meehan's being ranked in about all the orgs), but Briggs, even though not ranked, at all, would be a more exiciting and dangerous fight.

I'd be happy to see Meehan or Briggs get in there with Golota, but I hope its Meehan, for Golota's future titleshot quest.
