Real true is that no one wants to fight Golota. If they do, they ask for $800k or more. Briggs was even offered big money, but rejected. Kali Meehan wants Ruiz instead of Golota.

 

Man, this just sucks. Golota seems to be locked out of the picture, and at his advanced age, can't afford to sit around and wait for too long. He is in the top ten in at least two of the major belt organizations, so this may offer a glimmer of hope. He should keep fighting C-Class opponents, this will keep him in tune and keep moving him up the ranks, slowly but surely....

 

Sha-nay-nay Briggs is a damn *****! I knew he would not fight Andrew, he's all mouth.

Maybe Golota should try and fight Oleg Maskaev? I hear he still wants to continue and Golota may as well continue on with his caucasoid-hunter winning streak.

 

Joecool, does Golota still want to continue on, even though he's having a hard time finding a top opponent? WHat's his next move? And please do not say "go skiing".

Maybe Andrew should consider offering some incentive, like "if you beat me, you can have my purse", or fight for free just to make a point. He said he doesn't need the money anyway.

 

Or how about "for every time I hit you in the nuts, deduct 20 grand from my purse and add it to yours."

What about Shane Cameron? He wants to step up. That would be a perfect fight for Golota.

I know David Tua is always looking for an opponent, too.

 

If that is true Golota should fight the one who is giving money for him.
Recently Povetkin was interested ... do you think Povetkin is a bigger treat than Briggs or Mehan?
If Golota is not going to beat Povetkin he is not going to beat Peter or Wlad either.

 

I disagree. Peter is very beatable and his people know it. The guy has a belt but boxes like an amateur.

Golota should just some bum like Owen Beck to stay busy. You can't tell me that Ray Austin wouldn't fight Golota for chump change.
