Golata is the best heavyweight ever in every way his loses where done intensionly so that he could give the other fighters a chance. In his prime he would of beaten lewis, tyson and dempsey all in the same night. Please be sensible when evaluting the carrar of this polish legand it annoys me when boxing fans disrespect his nerves of steel and his cool headed approch in the ring.

In other heavyweight news, the last man to defeat Mike Tyson and the guy who hopes to lure Tyson out of retirement have been spending a lot of time in the ring together. “Clones Colossus” Kevin McBride and former champion Riddick Bowe have engaged in several spirited sparring sessions at Brockton’s Petronelii Gym.

McBride, who hasn’t fought since a loss last October to Andrew Golota and whose second child was born this spring, has been working with Bowe, who claims to have a Tyson fight arranged for Dubai. Bowe, inactive since 2005, is widely considered to have seen better days, but his 1993 bout with Holyfield remains the only official loss on his 42-1 record (he took a lot of punishment in two fights against Golota, both ending with the Foul Pole being disqualified).

Golota is undoubtedly the best Polish heavyweight in history and one of the top contenders throughout nearly two decades, but let's not get carried before we lose credibility. We're all a little charitable in evaluating Golota's career here and are still optimistic about his future prospects, but what you said above is wishful thinking.

Yikes! After suffering possible brain damage following the three Holyfield and two Golota fights, you'd think he'd be a bit more selective in finding a lighter punching opponent. But then again, his brain is damaged:

I blame Eddie Cotton for Bowe's speech problem more than Golota.

Indeed. That fight should have been stopped after the 7th, if not sooner.
