I was at the Brian Minto fight on Wedensday and had a good time, wouldn't that be an interesting match - Golota vs. Minto?

If you're talking about the second fight, it should have been stopped during the 2nd round IMO. Bowe was surviving by leaning on the ropes right after the first knock down. I guarantee that had Golota been the person on the ropes, the fight would have been stopped. Cotton gave the more famous fighter the benefit of the doubt. The outcome was trivial I suppose, because win or lose Golota would most likely still face Lewis.

Not more fun than Golota-Arreola. Either way, AG needs to get his ass in the ring soon.

Bowe was taking a solid beating against the ropes after being knocked down in the 2nd, but he was also firing back some nice punches of his own and even landed a few. The ropes were definitely holding Bowe up, so at this point the ref should have made Bowe get off the ropes or should he have called this another knock down?:think One could also argue Bowe's corner should have stopped the fight just after the 5th round. That was one of the most brutal rounds of the fight. Especially those last 3 shots Golota landed flush to Bowe's face just before the bell rang.

At least we know Golota has been training with Sam for a week now and intends to fight in September. Hopefully he will fight against somebody decent in the US and not Poland.

Right, at least he's getting ready. I guess he is still not sure who it'll be against, but he's preparing for someone. :good

Whenever this train starts to draw near the end of the track, we send out a construction team to build more...............therefore, ensuring the GOLOTA EXPRESS will keep thundering along the tracks til we finally roll into Title-shot Town.

JoeCool, what benefits Golota more if Ruiz wins or Valuev wins their rematch on Aug 30?

Also, is there any chance that Golota is going to fight on the Calzaghe-Jones undercard in New York in Sept?

I would imagine Valuev winning gives Golota a better chance at a quick title shot.

Ruiz is not gonna want to face Golota again if he can help it.
