I really believe Golota would have a VERY good chance against Wlad. As good as Wlad's offensive arsenal is, he always looks like he's about to cave in at any moment, due to exhaustion/pressure. Wlad HATES pressure, and we all know Golota is all about applying pressure in nearly every round. IF, and that's a big if, Golota could handle some of those right hand bombs by Wlad, Golota would pressure Wlad and take him out to deep blue sea, landing inside combos, body punches (Wlad does not take it to the body well) and some hard Golota right hands, where he will eventually drown him.

Because of Golota's age and lack of speed, I cannot say today's Golota would surely beat Wlad, but I will say he has at least a 60/40 chance.

Did anyone see Golota on FNF? I heard he was supposed to be in one of the Polish fighter's corner. As it turned out, the guy Golota was supposed to be cornering for got starched in two rounds. This guy was too tall and skinny with skinny neck and was fighting a shorter stockier guy and it was a bad night for the Pole. Or was it simply the curse of Golota? Anyway, I did not see Golota anywhere during the entire broadcast.

Yeah, don't know why he disn't show up in the corner like it was reported he would. But I would guess he was in the arena & I'm pissed ESPN didn't put the camera on him at least once.

Yeah I also wondered that. Fonfara got killed I hope it wasnt the curse of Golota that did it. On a brighter note, Adamek really made Gomez look silly. One of the most one sided fights I think I have ever witnessed

Golota was there! I saw him! His wife was with him too. He had the usual black suit. Unfortunately, I was told that he also attended the weigh-in, and he was not interested in talking to anyone. So I chose to leave him alone.

I did talk to Carl Davis though. He was pretty cool, he's trying to get a bout with Shannon Briggs, but may have to settle for Kali Meehan instead. :patsch Poor guy, he loses to either one.

I don't see a point for including Williamson in eliminator, Liakhovich comes from two consecutive loses also but he seems to be still better than Bidenko or Dimitrenko. Anyway I would include two younger guys from top 15: Bidenko, Dimitrenko or Arreola in this tournament. I think Arreola would be the toughest from them.

    Seems fair.

I don't know. From the perspective of a Golota fan, I really don't care who's in the tournament so long as Golota is in it.
