I wish Golota would bore off express and pull the rahman , john ruiz , jameel mcline , oleg maskaev and all the other sluggish carraiges with him into a very dark tunnel.

DonKingTv.com has the Golota/Mcbride and Mollo fights for free. I've seen the Mcbride fight on Youtube but it was the Polish feed and the quality sucked. I'm watching the English feed right now and the quality is great.

Is Golota still unified IBF North American/ WBA Fedelatin champion ?
I think that is #2 HW accomplishment right now ....
just a slightly below Wlad and definitely above chicken Peter.

Former world champion heavy weight federation WBO Bielorussia Serguei Lyakhovich (23-3, 14 KO) informed the Belarusian press about his plans to return to the ring.

Damn it's quiet on this thread. JC's been missing for days. No news is definitely NOT good news in this case.

On another note, saw the Toney/Rahman fight last night. Although it was short, neither fighter impressed me. Was wondering what others thought Golota would do if he fought either of them? I'd say he'd do pretty well.

actually a sergei vs. golota match isnt a bad idea... if sergei actually comes in focused he will give golota a good run for his money if not beat him... sergei is definitely a guy who after he beat brewster i feel said to himself "there i accomplished a huge goal" and was satisfied with winning the wbo and didnt really care to stay focused and defend it. hopefully he got rid of that "whatever" attitude hes had lately and is eager to become champ again :good

Golota is looking to get in the title picture at this point. He wouldn't gain anything from this fight, win or lose. On the other hand, why would Sergei risk another loss against a guy like Golota?

umm sergei is a former wbo champ.. so of course thats somethin for golota if he beats sergei.. better then fighting mcbride types...

A case of Ruiz show clearly that the higher in ranking the easier get title shot. The winner between Sergey and Andrew would clearly get top 3 position within any organization ... from there easily next title shot or fight for mandatory position.

I said a few pages back that Golota-Ruiz is perfect fight, first a posibility to nice revenge and second to get rid of the cockroach , so now we would have Valuev-Golota for WBA title, not Valuev-Ruiz.

I know he was champ but it is risky for him, don't you think? Don't mind my avatar but I'd bet on Andrew to beat Sergei. But, I do give Sergei credit for having a few big names on his resume, much better than a padded record with ATG postings.
