Golota-Briggs in China next. Tune-up fight small chances, but maybe. This is going to big card. Barrera, Golota, Briggs, Toney and few other boxers will fight in China.

 

AG should take a tune up around the end of September, to get him back into the swing of things. Basically a good work out, kicking someones butt. Then after that, mentally, he'll be ready for Briggs.

The Briggs fight is an elimination fight, correct?

I think Golota has a legit chance at fighting Valuev by December, mostly because it's the fight, outside Wlad and Peter, that will give Valuev the biggest payday.

Well, if not that, than Briggs, at least.

Like Jets mentioned, I would like Golota to take a tune-up against a nobody from nowhere spit bucket tomato can to sharpen up the tools a bit. A Jack Basting type of bum. But I doubt this will happen. All Golota has to do is survive the first round (which will be heart stopping:yikes ) and the rest is cheese cake. Should Golota beat Briggs just after his win against Mollo, there is no stopping King form getting Golota a title shot sometime next year. Hopefully against Valuev!

Sha-nay-nay just might have himself an ashma attack during that long plane ride to China due to high altitude. They'll have to make an emergency landing on some remote island near Fiji as he gasps for oxygen before ever making it to China. Indeed, team Golota need to have a back-up for this.
