No one could have seen that coming! I told you, warm up Ray Austin or Owen Beck for cannon fodder.

Neither Austin or Beck are with DK.

    Golota should fight:

    Valuev in December,

    winner of Vitali-peter or

    WBA eliminator against Kali Meehan

On Rafael's friday story, he said that Briggs said he just got back into the gym after taking the last 15 months off so he wouldn't be prepared for a fight of this magnitude by November, also Briggs cited the fact that he is currently without a manager and it would be unwise for him to negotiate with Don King without proper representation.

The negotiation line is BS. The key word here is "magnitude".

I agree He talks the talk but can't walk the walk. It has always been like that with Briggs

Now it's McCline or Meehan, but Meehan is slated to face Valuev in December. Golota will fight for WBC shot this time. Virchis-Gomez is official WBC eliminator, but WBC champion has 1 year to defense to official challenger. It will be time for optional defense.

Vitali, once he beats Peter, would be a good, huge payday opponent for Golota, once Golota beats McCline by decision.

Possible scenario, if this works out.

    :think

Methinks Golota did not do enough this year, sadly.

    He should have stayed busier.

I just do NOT understand why he wouldn't fight a bum every other month until a worthwhile opportunity presented itself.

    :-(

I don't get it. Very sad. Makes no sense.

On top of that, Valuev is slated to face Meehan??!! Crap, he might as well choose Mike Mollo or Kevin McBride. Screw Meehan! :fire
