I am holding out hope for Briggs to take the fight.......

If not, Meehan will be a good alternative.

Regardless of who it is, a win over either one should earn Golota some clout, and maybe a shot at a titleholder..

Whos he PLANNING on fighting this week. Fighting and actually doing it are 2 different things! Hard to believe the Mollo victory was 8 months ago and we STILL haven't seen Andrew step foot inside a ring!

Golota shall inevitably rule the division....if he ever finds an opponent, that is.

I'd argue that Meehan would be a better opponent than Briggs, both guys hit well but Meehan offers a good world ranking.

Golota would need to be very careful for the first few rounds but after that could turn on the boxing.

    Andrew Golota (41-6-1, 33 KO’s) and Ray Austin’s (24-4-4, 16 KO’s)? Austins name mentioned on 7 Nov in China

He been mentioned a few times before, its pretty good match up I think.
Hard work for Golota but he shouldn't have big problems.
