You two just talking trash :bbb, be serious in this matter ...
lets flip a coin to decide whether its better to injure Vitaly and allow Golota to fight Peter .....
or maybe let Vitaly beat Peter first and wait for big venue with him :think

So when are we gonna see an official announcement for Golota-Austin? The fight is just 6 weeks away. I assume Golota has been training, right Joecool? For how long now? Can you give us some more info on this?

I assume from ESB that "Firstly, on the Mosley-Mayorga card this coming Saturday, Austin will face the durable and always willing Domonic Jenkins, 13-9-1(6), in a scheduled 8-rounder (according to BoxRec). Then, should he successfully shed his ring-rust without any problems against the man who has taken the likes of Chazz Witherspoon and Jason Estrada the distance recently, Austin will face Polish tough guy Andrew Golota in China".
So, if that's true, what's happening with AG in November if something would go wrong for Austin next saturday? (with heavy guys anything is possible, after all...) Is there a B plan ready for him?
Hopefully the whole story will go ok, but you know, after almost a year of inactivity I'm beginning to worry a bit...

I really hope Austin does not suffer a severe cut and Golota has to find another opponent. A back-up plan is indeed in order.

Austin is a good fight for Andrew. A top 20ish guy who is too slow to tag Andrew with anything big.

My biggest concern about Golota is that he himself has become painfully slow with age.

He used to be deceptively quick, especially from 1994-1996. He still remained pretty fast through the Tyson debacle (despite a ****ed up shoulder), and after recently rewatching his fight with Byrd, he still had some good speed, even then.

Against Mollo, he was terribly slow.

She looks so much like Eliza in your avatar and I can even see resemblances in other pics. Let me know when you find the next Jessica Alba look-alike for SMM!

Yeah, Golota is very slow now. Manny Stewart kept commenting on this during the Mollo fight. I'm sure he remembers how fast Golota was in the mid 90s. He's drifted so far from the fighter he once was in his prime, yet he's still able to compete with top fighters like Ruiz, Byrd and even Mollo. It's such a crying shame he was not mentally mature when he was in his late twenties/early 30s!:|
