Its about Golota's trainer Sam Collona. He said that Andrew is coming to the gym very first in the morning and he is the last man to leave it in the evening. He also said that everyone could learn work ethic from Golota, he is working as if he was 20 not 40.

"We will do what it take to be in the best possible shape for Austin fight, and beat him fast, saving his energy for the clash with Valuev. "

"Andrew is better than Austin and Valuev combined. And I'm not saying this only because I love that guy. Who is Austin? What he has achieved? OK, he is tall and powerfull, but beside strong punching he cant even change the pace of the fight, finish the bout with knockout and his movement is awful. Andrew is quicker and has more skills. If you would like compare Andrew to Valuev, it would be pretty much the same. You can beat this Russian with speed and Chagaev has shown this."

I would love if this were true because last year he looked sluggish and his punches were not crisp, mostly crude power shots ala Peter. Last year's biggest improvement was unquestionably his early rounds defense. But this could also be your typical P.R. stunt. Still, imagining a skillful Golota with the mental maturity he has shown of late, is exciting.

You may tell his skillful raw behavior with lack of maturity is exciting and his mature behavior with lack of raw skills is exciting too ... kinda of weird.

Why not take the best of both worlds? Is it finally coming together? We will know much more after Austin.

.... Golota now needs to collect not the most exciting tools but the most effective one so finally his mission will be accomplished and we will see real belt in his hand.

Golota himself said after the Mollo fight he could have done better and in the austin fight he will!!!!

Austin is going to jump on andrew, no doubt. Hopefully he exerts himself and the G man covers up well enough to weather the storm then take austin out!

    GO GOLOTA!!!!

    :happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy

Golota needs to put Austin away within 6 to 8 rounds to prove that he still belongs in the HW picture (I hope he can do it!). He needs one more Title Run! Good Luck

I don't like the whole idea of Austin jumping on Golota ... man, he is 6'6'' and 250lb.
Golota is 40 year old and don't need any crazy guys jumping on him :-(,
lets somebody have finally respect for his age!

Well I think Austin may take a chance and jump on Andrew, but at the same way Im sure Golota will be ready for anything as he looks betterm mentally. In the other way Austin looks in his fights kind of fighting at the same rhythm and he does not seem to speed up at any point. Maybe he woudl think he coudl outbox andrew....I hope so...cuz that just aint gona happen

Austin ain't gonna jump on ****,he was trying to box in the Jenkins doing it very poorly. No way he tries to jump on Golota,he will get nailed. As slow as Golota is now he still is faster than Austin. You guys are worrying too much about this guy,he ain't nothing now.Golota gonna punish him and stop him mid rounds

Not to put a hamper on everybody's mood here but would Golota even be recognized as a real champ if he were to beat Austin and Valuev? I mean, isn't Valuev merely an interim WBA champion at this point? That would mean Golota would have to beat Chagaev as well to be considered the real champ, providing Chagaev can come back from his injury in time to defend the belt.

Untill that happen, if Golota beat Valuev, both Klitchkos will be more
than happy to unify with interim WBA titleholder in early 2009.
I doubt Chagaev will be ready for come back before summer 2009.
