Boris Dimitrov, Nikolai Valuev's manager has informed Fightnews.com of new details involving Valuev's upcoming fight in December: "Nikolai, I and Don King, as before, we oppose a Valuev-Holyfield fight. This is the initiative of Sauerland Event. They wish to make this fight because of money. I wish to find a worthy contender for the boxer. I can inform you that Nikolai will fight on December 20th this year in the Swiss city Zürich. As far as I know, there are restrictions on age for professional boxers in Switzerland. The fight will not be in Germany. Don King and I want a fight with Andrew Golota. Yes, on November 7th Golota will box against Ray Austin, but Don King considers that in one and a half months he can be ready to fight with Valuev. If Golota refuses, we will agree on a fight against Holyfield."

Any idea when they fight? If its anything like the States, and they fight at 10-11 PM then if we find a Sop link, I'll be watching this at 9-10AM here in NJ (EDT) as Chengdu, China is 13 hours ahead.

I dont know if I can swing that as Ill be at work- Ill be screaming at my desk! I might have to skip it live, wait to get home and hope there is a torrent of the fight out there post work.

 

Just keep the info coming guys as to where (sopcast?) & what time (EST) this thing may be shown.

Slightly quick stoppage- I would have been more satisfied with AG pummeling him to the ground and being counted out. Oh well...wins a win!!!!!

Why doesn't it say anything about what time it will be shown (EST)?

I just tried to email DKP to ask them whats up. It asked for my name, my email & then my last name again. No place to type a question...then the submit button. Hit submit & nothing happens.

 

"Polsat" will be airing the Golota fight at 15:30. Since Poland is 6 hours ahead of New York and Chengdu is 6 hours ahead of Poland, figure about 9:30 AM New York time.

 

Yep, even the "icings"... no one gets knocked out like Golota, he always gets up.
