Whatever the case being is I hope Golota puts a hurting on him. Everyone still seems to think that you can just as easily "ice" Golota as in the past. Golota has gotten smarter since those days and does not get himself involved in a slug-fest from the opening round, knowing that he is not yet warmed up. Everytime he got iced, he was trying to slug it out with the other guy from the opening belt, but never tried covering up and quickly weathering the storm. Austin is just gonna punch himself out, and Golota will then go to work.

Apparently Golota also dramatically lost a lot of weight, right before the fight. They are writting that we are looking at a younger, faster Golota, but I guess all will be known Friday. I hope this is the case. Golota has said that he feels great and is in great shape (as always) and still tastes the title. :happy:happy

Against Lewis I don't think he was trying to slug it out. I think he was simply in a coma.

Yea, true. Against Lewis he even looked pale as could possibly be. There were lots of stories and lots of attention surrounding that after the fight. That he was given too much of some drug to calm him down or something. He looked so wrong though in the beginning of that fight.

It was a hard lesson but **** happens. Could Golota have given Lewis a fight? The answer is yes, but not on that night.

I agree. One thing that kills me is that we will never get to know, how well Golota in his prime really could have matched up against the best heavies of his time. No doubt in my mind right now that he would beat Wlad, and at least give Lewis and Vitali a hell of a run for their money, if not beat them. But that unfortunently we cannot be 1000% sure as we never got a chance to see. Lewis may have one the fight, but he never actually beat Golota. The match-up never happened to see who was more skilled, and the better fighter.

Austin comming in at 228 has me thinking what his camp is trying to achieve. Maybe they heard from the Golota camp that Golota was putting on extra-weight to not be bullied by Austin (since Austin came in heavy in his last fight) and tried to pull a quick one on them and drop Austin down to give him the speed advantage. But Golota has come down quite a bit too. What was he before? Like 248 or something?

They have fly the same airplane to China. Golota must seen the skinny Austin and that why he went straight to celebrate meeting with Panda and started fat burning diet.

1# this pic shadow boxing must be up date, just look its the same place, on the second one you can see some chinese signs.

2# I heard that golota and austin agreed to 10 pound gloves on the night fight

3# like I said spotcast tomorrow

4# it is true there was a interview with austin on one of polish websites, and he is not in the best mental state coz of food and all the shity 1950' atmosphere, it seems that there was no shower and dressing rooms in the place where fight will go on
