I was hoping for a small miracle, like Golota joining us here & posting a Xmas thank you to all us loyal fans of his for showing the constant, unyielding support like we have done over the years.

    Oh well, maybe next year!

    :p

    ((((((((GO GOLOTA)))))))))

BTW, Bart...his skin is too tough to stick him with a fork.:yep

Watched Golota-Bowe II yesterday on ESPN Classic.

Havent watched it in a couple of years, as it brings back bad memories. Golota did such a number on Bowe. He kept getting warned for all this **** in the beginning of the fight, but Bowe was rabbit punching and what not and nobody said a word.

I can't believe the fight was allowed to continue. Bowe was pretty much out on his feet for the second half of the fight, taking HUGE shots and punishment. The commentators were saying that night that they will be shocked if they ever see Bowe competeing at a top level again after the brutal beatdown he recieved, they couldnt have been more correct. Referee should have stopped the fight, as should have Bowes corner. To be honest I think both could be held somewhat responsible for Bowes current condition. It was their job to protect their fighter, and both parties failed. What an unbelievable fight.

People seem to forget how good Andrew Golota was and how good Riddick Bowe was, coming after an 8th round TKO win over PRIME Evander Holyfield. Golota destroyed Bowe physically and mentally, he destroyed his career, Bowe never recovered.

Saw Golota in the church 3 days ago. He looked joly lol. He went all the way to the front of the church looking for place to sit. The church was full of people so it was hard to find a place. He just walked around. You should have seen people looking at him turning there heads around. Crazy:)

Good news...at least we now know he's still alive. Why didn't the dummy have an usher help him? Was he alone or with the wife & kids? I really think Golota likes to have people stairing at him. Surprised he didn't offer to be an alter boy!

I missed the replay of Bowe Golota II Sat night. Thats alright tough, I remember it vividly. Especially all those rabbit punches Bowe threw that his brother Eddie Cotton completely ignored.

    12 years ago. Damn!

I did catch the replay of Cotto Margarito Sat night on HBO. They showed it again saying it was their best fight of 2008. And it sure was...

You don't go to church much, do you Jets?

In church, an "usher" means something completely different than an usher at the cinemas.
