Damn, Golota has been fighting like a one armed gimp for nearly a decade!Truthfully, he should have retired back in 1999 after he ****ed up his shoulder in the car accident, forever ruining his once great (and I do mean GREAT) left jab. But as we all know, Golota is one stubborn sonofabitch, and would not quit boxing. Seems to me he tried his best to ignore the fact that he no longer had his snappy left jab and his left hooks have been **** as well (remember that hard left hook Golota landed against Bowe in their first encounter that sent Bowe wobbling backwards on rollerskates to the ropes? Never saw those kind of hooks from Golota again after his car accident).

Golota is definitely DONE.

Too bad it took Golota so long to mentally mature and too bad Golota is a **** driver!

People help you find seats in churches? I've probably been to more than 10 different churches in my life and I've never seen any such person. I've only seen altar boys, but they have a completely different purpose. In general, I would not think an average church would be able to afford such a luxury. Man, you must be a member of some upscale Manhattan church or something. Do they serve appetizers instead of the white cardboard thingy? Are you sure its Roman Catholic?


Thinking of Golota attending Church each Sunday, like a good little Christian, takes me awhile to imagine. The ideas are almost polar opposites. For Andy, there's a lot of repenting to be done. I wonder how long he takes at the confessional.

lzolnier never heard of "ushers" in a church? WTF???!!! These are the same guys that come around with the baskets to take our $$$. And when the church is full & people are standing in the back of the church, the USHERS walk around to find some open shots to sit people.

I havn't been to church in over 15 years but I do recall being seated by some guy in a ****** suit on more than one occasion. Babtist.

Golota fought Navarre juste before fighting Grant. One of his last fights before the car accident, ruining his left arm forever.
Golota displays nice stiff jabs and hard left hooks in this one. He was still pretty quick and showed great head movement.
It was in Poland so it was never broadcast anywhere in the US, only Polsat. I had the fight on vhs a long time ago but like a douche I accidently recorded over it. Anyone here have a copy on dvd?

I was in Poland for the summer when this fight happened. I think it was in June or July of 99. I was planning to watch it live but I missed it cause I was hanging too much with my cousin, who I couldn't believe turned out to be so sexy. But yes, great fight, although Navarre was a can. Golota still had fast, snappy punches and could deliver them in combos, often doubling and tripling his jab to set up a power shot. He had an all around great, disciplined technique and skill. He looked trimmer (body and face) too.
