You have mistaken Adamek with Toney ... he is 5'10'' of cubic size

The devastating punch which sent Banks to home might put Wlad to
sleep as well, however it wouldn't do much damage to Vitaly or Valuev.
The only problem is: can Adamek deliver it to Wlad's chin ... that's a doubtful.

If you mention Peter, he was able to put Wlad 3 times to the canvas
and Peter is terrible boxer. Adamek's accuracy and speed is superior to Peter's.
So I wouldn't worry about Adamek's offensive skills but only about his punch
    resistance against someone like Wlad.

From the other hand I think Adamek would have better chance against Wlad
than against Golota who is pressure fighter and have good power and skills.

I';ll be really disappointed if Adamek oves up to heavyweight.

    Why?

Because he is an outstanding, exciting champ AT HIS OWN WEIGHT - cruiser.

It seems like he is moving up because no one will step up and give them big money for Cunningham rematch. So why not defend the title vs interesting fighters - Troy Ross, Vassiliy Jirov, whoever - and BUILD UP INTEREST to Cunningham rematch. He could dump the IBF title, defend the Ring title, be The Man and fight whom he wants.

If Showtime can pay Vazquez/Marquez to fight each other 3 times, surely they will eventually cave in and give Adamek and Cunningham enough money to go to war again.

And if Adamek is having a Polish superfight, then why not Wlodarczyk?? This would have the prestige of being a world title fight. Golota is frankly a bum who has wasted so many opportunities. Adamek taking on Golota really is scraping the bottom of the barrel.

It took Adamek a long time to get this good. It would be a shame to see such a quality champ throw things away.

Jirov made the mistake of going up to heavyweight. He was a pretty damn good cruiserweight champ. He's still trying to pick up the pieces, with this latest comeback. Fighters can't see past the one big paycheck: they don't realise that perhaps their career at the top will be over once they've cashed in.

Andrew made some mistakes but the Byrd and Ruiz fights were his. Let's see how Adamek does against Andrew "frankly a bum" Golota.

I personally think "the bum" will end up beating Adamek. Golota has always done well against guys who cannot blow him out early. Golota can box or brawl and puts on constant pressure from start to finish.

Hopefully Golota can get his weight back down to where he was against Byrd-237. He'll need all the speed he can muster up at this point.

Yeah, he said that he ultimately wants to fight at heavyweight, but that his body wasn't ready for it.

He said when he makes the jump up, that he plans to come in at 215-220 and that he would be comfortable at that weight.

    I have my doubts, though.

Adamek will waste Golota, TKO 6, wear him down and not get hit, easy work for him

Holyfield did it and fat Toney did it, so did Haye.

    Adamek should be OK.

If this Golota-Adamek fight is really going to happen, please tell me that Golota is not coming in for just a payday???? That he is training? That his weight is down? And that he is healthy? I have been a Golota fan for a long time and I don't want to show up for more torture for probably the last fight of his career. I am just praying that he can put it all together this time and beat Adamek back to crusierweight.

i heard Adamek was going to come in light - 210-212 - and so basically it's an elite level cruiserweight vs a washed up heavyweight. I reckon the difference is CLASS, in QUALITY, will be apparent. Adamek won't be able to miss. I think if TA uses the right game plan he will land lots of unanswered punches and stop Golota by mid rounds.

That's providing Golota doesn't quit from injury, hyperventilation or get himself DQ'd.
