I've just bought tickets for the fight. Seats aren't very close to the ring so when Andrew lands a big punch i'll be able to catch Adamek's head.

That's right. Lodz isn't very far from Warsaw so it'd be a shame not see my childhood hero(i was 9 when he fought Bowe) in his possibly last fight in Poland.

Didn't Golota state he was around 270 pounds at the press conference? Can he really be down to just over 250 pounds that fast?

He must be training like a madman, or he really wasn't 270 pounds to begin with.

If he can get down to 245 pounds like he plans that would be amazing and show just how motivated he really is.

Yes, it is close. Wow, I feel old... I was 30 when he fought Bowe. I was in Warsaw just last September and stayed at Polonia Palace. The city has really come a looooong way. Are you in the city or nearby?

At 245 Andrew should look fine. After all, the hulking man is over 40 years old.

"The city has really come a looooong way." - That's exactly what Andrew said in an interview after the conference with Adamek.

Golota wasn't very specific about his weight. I remember him saying: "I weigh in at 260, 270 lbs, maybe less maybe more" So it could be less than 260.
I've just checked Golota's record on boxrec.com and his biggest weight was 249 lbs against Bates, 247-Navarre, 246-Rhode. All bums. But what is strange is that he was also 248 lbs against Brewster. Considering that against Ruiz and Byrd he was 238 Golota's story about "extra strong" vitamins with creatine which made him balooning before Brewster fight starts to make sense.

If he was 265 let's say, at that weight he's easily walking around with 10-15 lbs. water weight. The rest comes off from firm training. He should make 240-245 with no problem.

    Derric Rossy (22-2, 12 KO) i Jason Gavern (18-5-3, 8 KO)

Those are Adameks sparring partners so far

Golota needs to be sparring with smaller quicker fighters to be getting ready for Adamek's speed. Austin does not prepare him well for what he is going to face in the ring.

Austin was going to be Adamek's sparingpartner not Golota's.

Apparently Austin wanted to much money, Tomasz said its no big deal tho cause he said he has at least 5 other partners.
