I have 3 brothers, no sisters....and they all watched boxing and the sport grew on me and I now have a deeper passion for the sport then any of them...but the one fight that really made me go "Wow, this sport is great" was the 1999 Tyson vs. Botha fight...I was watching it with my brothers and I remember Tyson losing the rounds, both the commentators and my brothers were saying that Tyson looked like a shot fighter...and then BAM....one shot turned everything around and Tyson was the winner....so thats why I love the sport....cause at any second of the fight...even if you lost the first 11 rounds...one action no matter how far down you are can undo everything that happened and have you in the win column, and thats something that no other sport offers and is the reason I love boxing :D

ps. All this info with be on my Wiki page for reference when I take over the boxing world with a high paying, high power job that I will take my loyal minion Rummy along as my assistant, so remember you met me in there forums first and saw the beginning or my career :deal

back to the topic at hand

    GO GOLOTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw Golota's fight with Miko Mollo and while I loved watching that fight...one thing was clear...Golota had slowed quite a bit, and after that fight I watch the Ray Austin fight....Austin dropped him in the first few seconds and Golota hurt his arm.....and has not fought since....so you have to wonder about what Andrew will bring to this fight, and if the lay off will effect him....but Adamek is a slow starter himself so I do see Golota being able to get out of the early rounds fine.....but it remains to be seen if he can get into a rhythm and win enough rounds in this fight to take the decision....cause I think Adamek can take Andrews shots and avoid being KO'd....but its a interesting fight that has a lot more to do with what Golota has to offer then Adamek.

I have 3 sisters and no brothers so how the hell i got into boxing?:think
I wish you all the best in your efforts to take over Max Kellerman's or Larry Merchant's job:D but it's cruel world out there and i don't think i want to see you in this kind of action:

But if you and Rummy get into HBO i expect you to hire Golota as an expert like Goerge Foreman or Roy Jones. He is a man of few words but in this few words he can be very funny.:D

BTW great show and good luck!

Man I watched a couple of Golota fights on Youtube last night and boy was he quick. Not the fastest Heavyweight around, but plenty fast enough considering his size. Highly skilled with an awesome jab. Nice left hook, great straight right.

It's a damn shame that at this stage he's really just a shell of his old self, skill-wise. He can still fight with experience these days, but Oh what wasted opportunity. He really was just as skilled as the Klitschkos are today.

I'm still amazed when I watch 90s version of Golota. Everything you said plus he threw beautiful combinations and had great head and body movement. He had a good chin too.

Only thing Golota lacked was Tyson/Lewis KO power and of course a stable mind.

That pee-wee herman lookin' ass kissing Max Kellerman would never angrily shove some rude trainer as Larry 'martini' Merchant.

Bloodworth was with Golota when G-man was at his nuttiest so I'm thinking he may have better stories to tell.

Although Sam was there at the very begining so he'd be great to hear from as well. Rummy could spend a full hour interviewing while Boxing Girl can just sit there and look pretty. :smooch

As a diehard member of the express for several years now, I was hoping that someone could send me a copy of the upcoming fight with Adamek on DVD?

There are rumours that Golota will often switch to southpaw during the fight as Adamek has problems with them(Dawson).

Jeez I wish I could watch this. If Golota is healed from all his injuries, then he should be fine and whip the **** out of Adamek. I think Tomas could give Andrew some targeting problems, but nowhere near the defensive guy that Chris Byrd was. Golota will corner Adamek, hit him on the chin, and knock his ass OUT!!!!!! Go Golota!!!!:happy:happy:happy

Golota briefly switched to southpaw in the Kevin McBride fight. G-money set McBum up while in southpaw and finished him off in righty if I remember correctly.

Golota always looks awkward to me when he switches to southpaw, although he's been pretty effective with it. It's surprising that the straight left was the shot that really hurt McBride, so he must really carry some pop in it.
