I said it on the other thread....this is all part of the plan for golota for extra power. He knows hes gonna need as much power as possible bc there is no way no matter what will he come close to matching him in speed.

I'm not sure what all the extra power is for if you can't land a punch.

It's smother time for Golota. I see a real sloppy fight for however long it lasts.

It's normal. He was expected to be hreavier as he himself has said he blew up between fights and was looking heavy in recent bideos.

    Wasn't expecting 256 though.

    Might mean something,might not.

Are you joking? How can the extra weight possibly be an advantage to Golota in this match up. Its nothing but bad news. In his tip top shape Golota would already be around 30lbs heavier than Adamek and no one disputes that Golota likely has the heavier punch to begin with. This extra weight will have no bearing on power whatsoever. As usual, however, it will mean sacrificed speed and most importantly shot conditioning(in a guy who already has problems with these, due to age), so don't be surprised to see Golota huffing and puffing for air by the 5th round. Adamek can wait until then and overwhelm Golota with bombs while AG looks for something to lean on to catch his breath. Initially, I predicted this to be a UD for Adamek. With this new information I say it will be a TKO in the 6th round. Now I guess we know why Golota was traning in a polo for the press. :yep

The extra weight will help wear Adamek out when Golota leans on him.

BTW, Adamek is not exactly ripped at HW. He looks a bit soft. Not as soft as Golota, but this will be a whole new fighting experience for him as well. I think both fighters will wear out a bit. If this happens, Adameks punches wont have much affect on Golota, but Golota's will have affect on Adamek.

Wow, the tickets for the actual fight were cheaper. Stupid price.

I doubt they're going to stream it though.

I can see it. He's soft.

Adamek is NOT a natural HW.

Helooked soft when he 1st went to CW & then turned it all to muscle in time. He'll do tha same at HW. I'm almost leaning towards Adamek winning.

I wanna see him get real solid @ HW & then

I don't think Golota could do that. But Adamek might just shock us all...;-)

He very well might. But he hasnt filled out yet properly yet. If he beats Golota he'd have to hit the weights more. A lot of that extra weight is fat. Hell I can baloon up to 256 lbs at the local buffet. I know, I've done it. :D

With Adamek looking as soft as he does, he doesnt look like he's gonna be able to hurt Golota. If that's the case, Golota will be outboxed but will have 12 rounds to nail him with a solid right. And we all know Adamek has been hurt by guys who hit WAY softer than Golota.
