Wow thats really nice of Adamek...I hope golota accepts and this ends. I would really like golota helping adamek in his persuit of the heavyweight title. I know golota has a lot to offer to adamek.

If Adamek is truly reaching out to Golota, then Andrew should let bye-gones be bye-gones.

Golota as a Mentor/Promoter/Trainer type is very interesting. It's also a way for him to stay in the sport in some capacity. Don't know if he'd do it, or if it's even being offered though.

But being petty about it doesn't make him look good in the end.

 

Adamek is basically saying that they had an agreement to squash all the bad blood after the fight. He's hoping they reunite not only among them but also their families. He adds that he has a ton of respect for him and his accomplishments and thanks him for his help into the US market....and that Polish boxing needs a legend like him to help the younger guys. He politely urges him to get involved.

 

I see that many people are interested in this what Adamek said, so I translated it.
It took some time to me, but I could improved my English

He says that there was some agreement made between him and Golota before fight and Adamek reminds Andrew that he fulfilled conditions of this agreement. That agreement had to end the case, which hurt them and thier families. He says that he was never questioning Andrew's achievements and he didnt mock, when Andrew was losing. He felt the same after losing to Dawson. He admites that Andrew helped him in the beginning of his carrer and Adamek is now tyrying to pay back, so he helps other young Polish fighters (Masternak, Wach, Wilczewski) to fight on his shows in the USA. This is what should do everybody who achieved something in the sport. So he is asking Golota to help them too, because of his experienced and his status of living-legend of boxing. Adamek persuades Golota to cooperate in the future. He is calling Andrew Gmitruk and Ziggy Rozalski as the are they common freinds and contributors. At the end he says that as he is younger so he gives him his hand another time to concord with him.

 

Adamek also says that he won with old Andrew Golota, but he knows that he will not win in the memories of milions of Golota's talent fans.

I think that he is talking about the agreement which they made before the trial in October 2007. Golota was sueing Adamek for defamation(whores stuff) but they reached an agreement and the trial was off. In this agreement Adamek had to pay 25.000 $ for charity. He did it but they still haven't reconciled.

 

Think what You want, but Golota is the best HW boxer without championship belt :nono

 

That message to Andrew is a step in the right direction but if Andrew continues to box (and I believe he will) Adamek should offer a rematch.
