I didnt know about that. But I do know Golota recently had surgery on his arm again so I seriously doubt Golota would have taken the fight. He's probably stilll fat too.

Yep, Basting was right after Dixon and was untelevized. I have the fight on VHS though. Basting was a 41 year old boxer by day and 'lady's man' (danced at a strip club) by night and had a gimped leg. It was pretty funny watching a one legged bum trying to get Golota mad and cause him to foul out (his big game plan). Golota took him out in the 3rd.

 

That we went to in AC. Was only about 6 rows back from the ring! AG stopped him in 3 rounds?

Jets, Rums, what did you guys think of Adamek in his last fight against Estrada? I havnt seen it yet but I heard he looked less than impressive. How will he do against Arreola?

Golota is a funny guy.

Unfortunately, he was robbed in his best performances and is too old now too make it. So much talent it was sickening!

I think a fight versus someone like Bruce Seldon or Chanucy Welliver but definitely no fast younger fighters. Just someone Golota can dominate and ko for a win, preferably an older faded fighter with a little bit of a name.
